I'm a local to the Fort Gratiot/Port Huron MI Culver's. I recently went in the middle of December 2022 I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich meal added cheese Bacon and mayo had a medium onion ring instead of fries large drink instead of medium and then ordered a 2 piece chicken strip and a medium cheese curd and marinara for the curd (they charged me extra for marinara as a dip most places give it to you for free) total was 19.84 went 2 days later ordered the same meal it was 20.95 went the next day ordered the same meal it was now 21.46 every time I asked about the price increase they told me they just raised prices the day before and it wouldn't happen again (white lies to hurry you through the drive through) and that they supposedly according to the team lead they have only have had 1 price increase all year (2022). Went yesterday on 12-22-2022 ordered the same meal again and now it is $24.95. Needless to say i just drove away didnt pay. These cashiers and this location are clearly scamming the customer and the store and keeping all the extra profit for themselves or doing something with all the extra money they are scamming from the customers. Make sure you take pictures and record these people. I'm goin to notify the city of Port Huron Mi and their corporate office in Wisconsin for the price gouging going on at this location. Be safe. Every other fast food place in town doesn't raise the prices everyday whenever they feel like it to put the extras in there pockets I would highly recommend any place besides Culvers unless you like to get scammed and pay more everytime you go. Then on top of it all they don't give u an itemized bill afterwards that shows all the prices for each item so take a Pic of the order screen before you pay they will...
Read moreCulver's is Chick-fil-A's only real competition. McDonald's and Burger King are so far in the distance as to not even be considered in the same race.
I'm certain their Butter Burgers are made by angels... who smell like smoke and are probably so heavy that their wings are virtually useless.
I wouldn't be surprised if the secret ingredient in their ice cream is pure love - whatever is in it makes me either want to howl at the moon... even during mid-day - or smear it on my face! (Howling isn't unusual for me as I was raised by wolves) so far, I have resisted the urge.
Their fries are so good that I have to fight the urge to dump them out on the floor and push them around with my nose... thank goodness so far, I've been successful. But I have been known to claim the 30-second rule after dropping one on the floor.
If you've not been to Culver's, you are literally depriving your tongue from enjoying one of mankind's great treats. Don't take my word for it... try them out for yourself.
However, if you do howl at the moon or smear ice cream on your face, don't say no one warned you.
Pro-tip: Keep moist wipes and a clean towel in the car...
Read moreOrdered a Culver’s deluxe tonight and small fry after working 12 hours. Trusted they would come through as they rarely disappoint, but when I got all the way home I noticed the “small” fry I ordered was literally ten fries spilled on the bottom of the bag—no fry bag in there to even contain them from spilling. Had to drive out of my way to go back. Mind you, I’ve been up since 4am. I just worked a twelve and I have another tomorrow. Going back to Culver’s, out of my way to wait for them to remake what should’ve been right the first time (no line, only customer there, 8:00 at night) is ridiculous, and the “have a goodnight” as I left clearly agitated and annoyed (hungry and tired, not a good combo) couldn’t have been less sincere. Will be contacting general management on this. No excuse for fries to not be bagged, and literally ten of them? What? Why did I pay for this in the first place? Management needs to lead by example, no wonder the employees didn’t care any less. The only employee who seemed to care was the girl who gave me the refund. Everyone else rolled their eyes or scoffed like I was...
