Serve and travel NIGHTMARE!! On Saturday August 12th i checked in for two nights on a business trip form Atlanta at the Fort Laudedale Marriott, when checking in the usual credit card authorization was giving for my two day stay for incidentals. As a bonvoy member for the last ten years, I have never been so humiliated as I am about to explain to you next. Two days later after checking in my reservation I extended an additional two more days, at which time I went to the front desk to get my key updated. Mr. Sanchez informed me that he would put another hold on my card credit! When i first quesioned him. about this he LIED, by telling me he HAD to charge my card! I informed him that i am a Bonvoy member, and traveld to mulitiple Marriott locates, and had the fee transferred to my extended stay! At this time when confronted with the truth that it could be done, he than appoligzed, and proceeded to complete my extinction. Two days later on the 16th, my wife and i extended another two day from to 16 to the 18! We were out of the hotel form 7:30am to 8pm! Upon arriving back to the hotel i was greeted by Berlencia Vedrine, I then explained to her that i needed my key reprogramed, i provided her with my ID and room key! She then told me in a rude and dismisive matter that she WILL NOT reprogram my room key without a addional hold. At this point because there was not amciable resolve in sight i then asked to speak to a supervisor, at this point she then advised me she was the front desk supervisor! She them told me that if the card was not presented she will have me removed for the premises of the hotel! I again tried to ask her to come up with a resolution. Still being very rude and totally disengage for the customer service exprience ! I was devastate that a young lady young enough to be my child still told me to leave the hotel! I was then escorted to my room by security to remove my belonging! Now at 10pm i've been forced to find somewhere else to see along with my wife! Berlencia at no point closed my reservation nor canceled it! So i was forced to wait for Marriott to realsease my funds! Three days later my funds have still not beem released to me! I do not believe that anyone that has no finical investment in a brand or compay should have the right to tell a paying customer that they WILL NOT accommodate then and put then on the street!!! This is unprofessional, carless, and also a sign of how poor service has gotten in America.
