This is by far the worse experience I have received from all Gyrovilles in Florida. As a great customer that I purchase in all locations I thought I was purchasing from Fort Lauderdale location not Cypress Creek. I made the order for my husband and he went to pick it up. When arriving at FLL location they said there was no order but I was not present and no questions were made to satisfy the customer order all ready placed. My husband being with two small children had to go. When he gets home I asked if he had picked up order then processed to say there was no order. When I called the number he mentioned the order was there and then proceeded to confirm the address and it was not Fort Lauderdale as mentioned on the website. Due to this mistake I asked if I could pick up order but it wouldn’t be enough time to make it to Cypress creek. Then I said if I could pick up tomorrow. They said sorry I cannot refund or issue a new order. Food was made and I am not a valued customer that travels from Miami and Fort Lauderdale buying in all locations. I spoke with Manager and she prefers to get a bad review as she stated write the review than to satisfy a customer and make the order again. Since 2014 I have been eating Gyroville and this mistake caused them a valued customer. I am so disappointed that I will not go to another Gyroville again. A company that throws away food on the daily because of low sales losing a over decade customer over...
Read moreI usually go to the Great Greek Grill but decided to try this place instead & I was deeply disappointed. First let me say, veggies were not fresh. Lettuce was more like a spring mix you’d buy in a bag and tasted like it was going bad or sat out too long. Tomatoes were also shriveled up. Definitely not what I’m used to. In addition, the customer service was quite subpar. Again, it was my first time at this establishment which I’m sure was obvious to the person serving me because I was asking lots of questions. I felt like instead of helping me understand their menu, I was just given very basic answers with no detail. I said I want a “gyro” which I guess they refer to as just “pita” (server was confused) and then asked to sample the ziki sauce. Before I could make my mind up if I liked the sauce, the server had already made a pita with lamb. When I informed I actually wanted chicken, there was no question of spicy or regular, just gave me the regular when I indeed wanted spicy. Also didn’t even change the pita bread that already had the lamb meat on it, like what if I was allergic or something. Then gave me the spicy ziki sauce I guess to make up for the spicy chicken but I never asked for that. It just felt like he wanted me to hurry up and leave. Welp, going going GONE!
Edit: by the reply it’s no wonder the establishment was a ghost town. If only as much attendance went into providing quality ingredients &...
Read moreGyroville offers a good selection of meals at a fair price. The highlight of this place is obviously their Gyros, with a variety of combinations listed on the menu. You can choose a pre-made combination if you're on the run or go ahead and make your own. I like to mix and match. Selections include a variety of meats, fresh vegetables and sauces, which can range from mild to spicy (go ahead, live a little).
The Gyros are well cooked, usually piled pretty high and neatly wrapped in aluminum. I'm not sure if pita bread come in a standard size but I would say their Gyros are average sized. It would be nice to get a larger option. Of course you can always purchase a side to go with your main course, such as fries, if you're a fatty like me. Fries are not too oily and come topped with a seasoning. The usual fountain drinks are available if you're thirsty.
I usually visit between 12-1pm and it's not too busy. Seating consists of 6-7 small tables with a high top bar area around the surrounding walls. I'm sure you can combine tables but I wouldn't recommend this place for larger groups. It's more of a grab-and-go or dine with a few friends environment. Overall, this a great place to get your gyro on when you need a...
