Baxter Cabinets — Attraction in Fort Mill

In short, EXCELLENT!!!! Here's why.

My son's kitchen was 50 years old. It needed a complete remodel. After careful measuring, I put out a bid request to 12 different cabinet companies found on the internet. Baxter cabinets came in as the least expensive. Sometimes that can be concerning; however, I selected Baxter's products after careful consideration.

I am so glad that I did. I spoke with the owner, Brad Harris, about my needs. He took my calls, sometimes even when it wasn't convenient for him to do so. His bid was COMPLETE!!!! (all the necessary trim, filler, kick plates, etc.) His internet sales rep, Kristine Holtz, was also professional. I couldn't be happier with their service.

If you'll stay with me, I'll dive deeper. The cabinets themselves exceeded my expectations. All ply boxes (good plywood also), GREAT soft close hardware, easy instructions, high-quality doors and frames, etc. They are VERY NICE.

Kristine and Brad helped me select the proper pieces for this kitchen (SEE PICS), and delivered the materials in less than a week after I placed the order. But, here's the mark of superior customer service. I was in the middle of the project when I realized that two of the cabinets would look better with a different size. I called Brad the day before Good Friday. Well, guess what...., the new cabinets arrived the Monday after Easter, hot shot delivery, in perfect shape. WOW.

So, I'll end as I began. EXCELLENT. It is rare that I find that a product is both the least expensive AND has the highest customer service level. Baxter Cabinets product quality is better than many, and WAY better than anything that you'll find at the box stores. We are about to remodel my daughter's kitchen next. Hers is an upscale job in a very nice neighborhood. Guess who is getting the cabinet order. That's right, BAXTER...

Baxter Cabinets…that’s where I ended up, after ripping out our entire kitchen by hand in the house that we inherited, 5 years and two babies later. My husband and I found mice in the kitchen, and that was the last straw for me. I drove to the closest cabinet company, which happened to be Baxter, and I was welcomed with open arms and so much care for our situation. Heather and Brad went over my kitchen layout, which was absolutely unrealistic and cramped with DIY counters and the tiniest work surfaces, and they gave me hope. I thought having a real kitchen was far out of our means, until Brad and Heather so kindly explained that their work is not only reasonably priced, but also guaranteed for quality. They then set me up with their in house designer, Dee, who knocked our expectations out of the WATER with her incredibly precise skill and instinct for the seemingly impossible project that we presented her. She was the epitome of professionalism through all of the planning and design, even when we were blind to the possibility of having a custom kitchen in our home. The team came in promptly and within a very short time, our kitchen cabinets were installed perfectly. Our kitchen was cleaner when they left than it was before they even started. It’s beyond our wildest dreams, with all sincerity, every time I walk into my new kitchen in our Forever Home. My husband is already discussing hiring Baxter again for our Primary Bath! Every single person we encountered with Baxter has been so kind, SO courteous, and has truly made our home whole with this kitchen. Also, I’ve attached before/after pictures, even without our countertops being installed…it’s been a fantastic journey that I hope inspires others’ trust in...

We cannot recommend Brad and the team at Baxter Cabinets enough! We have had such a wonderful experience with them. Prior to finding Baxter Cabinets, I had been working with another company and was at my wits end with them taking a week to return my calls, constantly getting the design wrong and making changes to the quote that weren't requested. I stopped into the Baxter Cabinet showroom on a whim and met with Brad, and I am so glad I did! He was able to get us exactly what we wanted, and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We had picked out a color that we liked for our lower cabinets, but Brad knew what look I was going for and thought another color would look better, so had a door made in both our color of choice and the color he thought we would like more, and he was absolutely right - his color was exactly what we were looking for. He also was able to make improvements to the design I had for the kitchen, to make it much more functional. The cabinets came in on time and were exactly what we had wanted and what we ordered. Install was smooth. A family member even accidentally scratched my cabinets the day they were installed and, after my mild panic attack, I talked to Brad and he had it looking like new again the next day. The cabinets themselves are high quality, look beautiful, and were very reasonably priced. From start to finish, we have had nothing but a wonderful experience working with Baxter Cabinets on our kitchen. I am so happy I stopped by their showroom that day.
