Shame on you Ft. Myers! You took an event that was always FREE to walk around in and after a horrendous year of sickness and people losing their jobs and just wanting to get out and take in some beautiful art and craftsmanship, you have the nerve to now charge $10???? You lost me which is a shame because it’s the exhibitors who lose out! This is truly the Premier Art Festival in all of Southwest Florida! The location right on the river is gorgeous. The artists are fantastic and there are always so many new and exciting ones. The sidewalk chalk art contests are inspiring to watch. There are so many offerings for people of all ages. We had our 18 month old grandson with us this year and he loved watching all the children performing on stage in the youth pavillion. My husband and I have been trying to get down to Florida for the Ft. Myers Art Fest for 2 years now and finally made it! We could not have been happier with the event! We purchased our first two large pieces of artwork from some fantastic artists and appreciated the variety and the price ranges of the artwork as well! The food vendors were also wonderful and although it was crowded, it was a great atmosphere! We are had VIP tickets and the VIP set up was FANTASTIC! It is definitely worth the "upgrade"!
