I entered this gallery with two friends and also my little service dog. It was pretty crowded and I was keeping a close eye on Zoe so she would not get stepped on. As we were about to go into the garden area the artist confronted me and told me that I had to get Zoe out of her gallery. I Explained that she was a service animal but that did not make a bit of difference to Leoma. . Why? ? I was told that Leoma has an “attack cat“ that lives behind the counter. I asked if we could go out into the garden area and was told just as rudely, “absolutely not! “ “ leave by the door you entered and do it now!“
I realize a lot of people have been taking advantage of the ADA‘s laws regarding service animals. This was not that. Zoe has been with me for 14 years and she is completely legitimate. In all those years, I have never met anyone as rude and obnoxious as this artist and the woman who helps her behind the counter.

Read moreI liked it. Concerning the comment about people of color, I was with my wife and daughter, who are both very dark complexioned. We didnt see a lot of staff, but those we did see were friendly and chatty enough. I thought nothing of it at the time - very normal interactions and I felt nothing amiss whatsoever. We didnt buy anything and didnt intend to, but had no problem with staff. A lot of people make everything about race and go out of their way to be offended. That's just making things worse. We're becoming a nation of snowflakes and Karens. Please, stop. Anyway, I liked the artwork. It's very striking, coastal and maritime in nature, with a limited but very vivid color palette. But, it's all prints. Reproductions printed on canvas. There was a poster-sized guitar image I really liked. It was $1500. For a print. Very interesting stop but...
Read moreIt was my birthday weekend and I wanted to buy some art to remember our trip by. This was the first place we stopped at. Yes, the art work maybe beautiful but the service was not. My family and I are people of color and were ignored the whole time we were there. The lady that was there (which I will assume was the owner & artist) didn't even bother acknowledging our presence but was courtesy to every other (white) patron there. So we left immediately and went next door to Wild Child Art Gallery and was welcomed the moment we walked in. We ended up spending $200 in art & jewelry all because of the friendly service. This establish could learn a thing or two about customer service from Wild Child...
