Specifically came all the way down to Fort Pierce from PSL to grab some cold seafood for this weeks dinner. My doctor is thankfully right next to the Pelican in the exact same plaza! Or so I thought I was going to get two birds with one stone! There were PLENTY of parking spaces in front of my doctor office but figured I would park at pelican since that would be the last place to go instead of parking TWO times! (Nobody wants to have to lug seafood in for a simple referral print out!) I understand people probably try to park in the assigned parking spots all the time but this guy Mike came RUNNING out as soon as he saw my body wasn’t aligned with THEIR door like I was going STRAIGHT to HIM. AND HE LOOKED LIKE HE HAD AN ODD PLEASURE IN BEING ABLE TO SAY IT!… truly kind of creepy… Well Mike, jokes on you Bubb! because I came with $250 READYYY to come THROUGH! You just lost $250 minimum on your profits for today! Learn to ASK if someone is coming in and if it’s a NO… THEN you ask to move. SERVICE is key… and the service I got from you, Mr Mike, before I even walked in the door… was absolute SHIZA! I honestly dislike I have to even give a ONE star. I’ve been to you before and really liked your seafood but it’s about as basic as any other good seafood place around here… so I didn’t lose in the end! Onto the NEXT...
Read moreHave been a customer of Pelican since moving to Port St. Lucie in late 2014 and have always been extremely satisfied with their seafood and friendly service. I served a shrimp platter as an appetizer for dinner and a guest complained of the taste and texture of the shrimp. I collected the shrimp immediately and tasted one myself and the texture and taste was off. Note, this shrimp was purchased just 3 hours before dinner. I did call and leave multiple massages regarding the shrimp and have been totally ignored. So I guess Pelican does not stand behind the products it...
Read moreI waited in line, like everyone else on New Years Eve. Now, mind you I am a loyal.patron of this place. WHEN IT WAS MY TURN, THE TALL ELDERLY MAN WITH WHITE HAIR, WAS SUPPOSE TO TAKE CARE OF ME. I ASKED FOR A HALF A POUND OF SALMON TO BE CUT AS SUSHI..HE REPLIED "NO"....I ASKED WHY, HE REFUSED TO ANSWER ME....TOOK THE CUSTOMER BEHIND ME. I waited until the customers to leave. I asked the owner for the salmon, to be cut as sushi. He obliged me. He was very kind. I told him what happened. He said they do not cut salmon for sushi on New Years Day, because they are too busy. I kind of understood, but at least the elderly man behind the counter could of kindly told me that ! I don't think that was asking to much. They have great, fresh fish . I was hurt...
