I recently discovered Candle Nail Spa after finding out that my two favorite nail technicians, Yuki and Tony, moved there.
First and foremost, the salon itself is an absolute stunner. The decor is chic and modern, creating an ambiance that instantly puts you at ease. It's clear that the owners have put great thought into creating an inviting space that feels both stylish and comfortable.
One of the standout features of this nail salon is the remarkable massage chairs. As someone who frequents various nail salons, I can confidently say that these chairs are a cut above the rest. The moment I settled into one, I was transported into a realm of pure bliss.
While the salon itself is impressive, the staff truly sets this place apart. The manager, Aiden, is warm, friendly, and incredibly personable. He went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was nothing short of exceptional!
Now, onto the main attraction—the nail technicians. As I mentioned earlier, I followed two of my favorite technicians to this new location, Yuki and Tony, and their skills have only improved with this transition. Yuki is my go-to for dip and designs. She is always up for any challenge and takes her time in making sure that my hands are perfect before I leave the salon! I always tell her “just do what you feel like today!” and the results are always amazing. Yuki’s attention to detail, precision, and creativity in nail art are unparalleled. Tony is my go-to for pedicures and he always leaves my feet looking perfect. If you’re a French manicure person, he also gave me the best French manicure I’ve ever had! Yuki and Tony take the time to listen to your preferences and offer expert suggestions, resulting in stunning and customized designs that exceed expectations. I would travel anywhere in the metroplex to see them - they are truly the best!!
Candle Nail Spa is a true haven for nail enthusiasts. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with a beautiful and clean environment, complemented by the best massage chairs you've ever experienced. The manager's friendly and personable nature creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel valued as a customer. And let's not forget Yuki and Tony who consistently deliver exceptional results.
If you're seeking a nail salon that combines aesthetic elegance, comfort, and top-notch service, I highly recommend paying a visit to this nail salon! Trust me, you won't be...
Read moreI recently visited this nail salon and had a generally good experience, though there were a few things that left me unsure about returning. The salon itself was very clean and well-organized, and I was seated in the pedicure chair quickly without a long wait. They even offered me a beverage, which was a nice touch. The gel polish was applied evenly, and the massage felt great in the moment. However, I was disappointed with a few aspects of the service. The shape of my toenails wasn’t straight, and after applying the top coat, the nail tech filed the sides of my big toe nails, which ended up hurting. I also chose the deluxe pedicure, but the massage felt too short—it started at 5:19 and was already finished by 5:30. On a positive note, the front desk girl was very kind and understanding. When I brought up my concerns, she apologized and gave me a discount, adjusting the price to the collagen pedicure instead. Overall, while there were definitely some good parts of the visit, the downsides left me hesitant about coming back.
**Edit after the owner response to my review: Thank you so much for the discount and the gift card. I change my personal phone number because of my personal reason, I wasn't updating my account, this was my first time here after countless times my friend talk about you guys. I -2 stars because there are 2 reasons that bugged me so bad which are the AMOUNT OF TIME of the massage and the way the nail tech file my toe nails. As I told you, she started wrapped my feet in hot towels at 5:15, started the massage at 5:19 and ended it exactly at 5:30. Second is the way she file my nails, i just want her to file straight and just make the corner round a little so that its not poking into my skin. I will still comeback tbh bc the atmosphere is nice and the front desk girl was really really friendly, I just hope imma get a better nail tech tbh
Fyi, I checked in at around 4, but when I sat down in the pedicure chair it was 4:15, given or take 5-10min for the nail tech to prepare the pedicure, she didnt start it at least...
Read moreLet me preface to start out, I understand businesses want to make their money. Its hard out here. I truly empathize. What I will say however is this---- this is the reason why people are opting to do their own nails, invest in press-ons, and using better nail techs. Allow me to explain.
On Jan 6. 2025, my niece and I came in to get our nails done. It is the week of our birthday and we were looking for something simple, but decently priced. Clearly I have been living under a rock because when I say this salon NIT PICKS every single charge. There is no reason why a short white tip set with regular polish should be $58. NO REASON. I wanted a oval shape, guess what? EXTRA $15. NO REASON. God forbid I want a tad bit longer length, an additional $20. NO REASON. My niece got gel x, you know the PRESS ONS you paint?? $90!!!!!!!!!! Outrageous. There were paint outside of the lines, not very cleaned up on the sides. Its ridiculous how these types of salons want to charge and up charge every second that you breathe! literally. Please save your money. There are better nail techs that wont gave you BASIC ssa nails! There are some who will make the $90 worth it. The only good thing, is if your new they will give you a 20% discount, but all in all not a good experience. Oh yeah, the man offered me a drink when we were just about done with our services! WOW! The techs were okay, didn't socialize much like what I am accustomed too, but sure were speaking to each other. Yeah I wont be back! I am not sure who is running this place, but clearly whoever it is didn't do their homework over the area and what other places are charging. Just because your NEW doesn't mean you need to overcharge. A 10-year old would have done a better job.
