Black Rifle Coffee Company — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I love BRCC. The people are great and the coffee is good. The reason I’m writing this review and giving 3 stars is because for the second time, the lid has come off and I’ve been burnt. I just get a large coffee. They always put it in double cups. I don’t think that plays into it, but that second cup does hold some of the spilled coffee to get me again after I thought I’ve cleaned it all up. I don’t know if it’s the lid/cup not fitting properly (I doubt it because it doesn’t happen all the time), the person putting it on, or the lid becoming too hot and malleable that causes it to lose its grip. All I know is fresh coffee burns on the hand.

Update The lid issue seems to have been fixed. Hasn’t happened since about a month after my initial review. I’m bumping the rating to 4 stars. The only reason it’s not 5 is because I came in today to get a cup of coffee. They didn’t have coffee. My options were an Americano or a pour over. I went with a pour over because I was told it’s the same price…it wasn’t. Nearly twice as much. I don’t understand how a coffee place doesn’t have plain coffee available. I will definitely come here less if I can’t get regular coffee when I want it. Also, has taken a really long time. I sat down, waited a few minutes, decided to update this post and still haven’t gotten it. The person making it did come over and talk to me for a minute, so as previously stated, the people are good here. Maybe a little too good. On his way back to make my coffee, he got stuck helping other customers. If you want plain coffee, don’t come in the afternoon.

One last update…finally got my cup of coffee. I think they ended up just making a full container, so got what I initially wanted. To speak to the workers again, they gave me a $10 gift card for having to wait for so long. Overall, a good...

The asking for tips has got to stop. I feel bad giving a bad review but the coffee is substandard and way too sweet compared to Starbucks. And waaayyyy too expensive. $13+ for 2 coffees… and then they beg for a tip…

They clearly do not get it. If the coffee is already overpriced, and they are asking for a tip prior to any product or service being delivered, then what are we tipping for? If the workers are working so hard, the. The establishment needs to pay them more, not make excuses for tipping that is not remotely earned. When you tip before service or product, the isn’t that ‘ransom’? Basically you are tipping to ensure that the product is not totally substandard, or ??? Clearly the owner give zero care about...

We visited black rifle coffee ,a veteran founded coffee company, today. This coffee shop is amazing with a very cool atmosphere. They really make you feel like family. With every purchase made they give back to support the veterans of America. I got a chance to chat with the owners, and they are super cool. They have awesome specials daily, apparels, pre packaged to go food . They also have snacks and cans of black rifle coffee if your on the go. You can purchase whole bags of ground coffee or coffee beans. They sell Yetti and coffee cups. This is a great place to pick up a gift for your dad, husband, brother or son.
