After being a loyal customer at my go-to nail salon for a couple of years, I never expected to have such a disappointing experience today. I walked in with excitement, ready for a pedicure and a new set of nails. Up until now, I had only gotten pedicures here, so I was looking forward to trying something new. Unfortunately, this turned out to be my first and last time getting my nails done at this salon.
Let me start with the positive: my pedicure was absolutely fantastic! Winnie did an amazing job, and I left feeling relaxed and pampered. However, the mood shifted when I moved on to my nails. The technician assigned to me, T, seemed to be having a rough day. Everything was going smoothly until we got closer to closing time, and I noticed he began to rush through the process.
I didn’t want to say anything because I understood that everyone wants to wrap up their day, but it was disheartening to see T getting frustrated, especially when he struggled to achieve the French tip look I had requested. After multiple attempts, sighs, and an aggressive removal of the polish, he asked if I could come back the next day so someone else could finish my nail set which was SUPER unprofessional. Unfortunately, I couldn’t return, as today was my only opportunity to get my nails done.
Fortunately, another technician stepped in to help, which I appreciated. However, the experience had already soured for me. When it came time to pay, I didn’t double-check the total; I assumed everything was reasonable. To my surprise, I noticed that T had tried to charge me for extra-long nails, when in reality, my nails were more of a medium length. When I brought this to his attention, his response was dismissive: “If you don’t like the prices, talk to my boss tomorrow.”
As I walked toward the front to pay, T then told me he had fixed the charge and adjusted it to a large set of nails. Honestly, I was so fed up at that point that I didn’t even argue. I simply paid what I owed and left, feeling disappointed and frustrated.
I hope my feedback helps improve the experience for...
Read moreI’ve been here about 4 times. Last time was recently, I picked my color but when she put it in on my nails it was not what it had looked like in the book.I gave her another choice and when she came back it was purple. She was huffing and puffing because it was getting close to closing time. Finally, she said what color do you want lady? Here’s the deal my bill was $115 for a pedicure and a full set ofnails. I plan on wearing these nails for at least four weeks. I am not going to pay $115 to be unhappy with a color I don’t want just because it’s closing time. Why can’t they let you look at the book while you’re sitting there waiting to soak off your nails or while you’re sitting there in the chair with your feet in the water? it makes no sense to me the minute you walk in the door you go pick your color and you have two seconds to pick your color. Sometimes when you pick a color out of the book and then they put it on your nails it’s not the same color, not even close. The lady was rude to me and I even apologized to her. I told her I just wanted to be happy with the color I picked.. She even went and got the manager and he brought the book over to me like what does that mean? Hurry up and pick your color…. We’re closing soon and you’re not important. what color do you want? I’m a paying customer, but why am I being so difficult by taking too much time picking a color that makes ME happy? And if they do not want to be caught up after their closing time with a customer, then why don’t they put a sign on the door that says no customers after a certain time or no customers one hour before closing time? OMG I’m going to go somewhere else where I have time to pick my color and I don’t get yelled at for picking the color I PAID for. More importantly, the girl doing my pedicure had 1 ear bud in and was talking on her phone the entire time. How rude.I still tipped both girls $15 each. I feel like I should tip after all, they do work hard . However the more I thought about it the more became upset.I did nothing wrong. I was courteous and I...

After years of patronizing for gel nail and toe service by Anna and Trish before moving out of the city.
On 05/27, I was in the area and decided to drop in for services.
Checking in, I was informed Anna was off, but Trish was available and that I would have another tech.
Lily came over very nicely to start with my pedicure. She didn't quite understand my procedure. She had to be instructed a few times. Trish came over to acknowledge me . She stated that due to her vision, she was no longer doing dip nails, mostly pedicures.
A tech named Niki came over and began to do my nails. She was very ruff, and when mentioning how I like my nature nails dipped and shaped, she was very nasty and spoke very negatively about me to the other tech doing my toes.
There was an issue with color matching, and to make a complicated issue that was getting noticed with the manager being very dismissive, I decided on white everything.
At this point, due to the attitude of Niki and the manager, I decided to put my phone in translation mode.
After reading their very disrespectful conversation along with seeing how poorly my nails were done, I refused further service.
As I checked out and addressed my overall displeasure of the service. The manager drew attention with her loud tone and claim of time spent. When actually time spent was by her giving directions to Niki of how to do my nails.
When she continued to NOT take accountability and apologize is when I informed her of the very insulting translation that I read of the conversation between Niki with her and Lily.
Informing her of how they should be very careful of what is said and more respectful to all customers.
She then stated "well if you're not happy with service, you don't have to pay.
With that said, that was the least she could do. But it's the most CLUCKS I can give to Niki and the manager. The absolute worst service I've ever had....
SN: 5 stars for every time Anna provided...
