This would be a 0 star rating if that was possible. I purchased a two pack of black ink cartridges. The first one was fine, but today I tried to use the second one. It prints blank pages. I went online to troubleshoot it and there's something about a vent on the cartridge. I tried clearing the vent as per the instructions and it still didn't work. I contacted the store to confirm that I could come in tomorrow and exchange it. I was told that if it was more than 30 days ago that I would not be able to. This is a two pack of black ink, so it had been longer than 30 days. The store manager was completely unwilling to exchange this item. I buy a lot of ink there and all I wanted was one that worked. I asked him for a district or regional manager's number and he gave me the customer service number. The customer service number does not deal with in-store purchases. Someone on that line told me I needed to contact human resources and gave me a phone number and said to choose option three. I thought this was very odd, but I tried it. Unless I was calling about my W2, this was not helpful. I called the customer service number back again. He gave me what was supposedly a corporate number. I called the corporate number and chose the return option which led me back to the original customer service number that I started with who cannot help me because it is a store purchase.
I would hope that someone in a manager position would know when to make an exception to a rule for the sake of customer service especially when the rule doesn't logically apply to the item. Also, I would caution anyone from dealing with a company at store level who apparently has become so online focused that they are unable to provide a way to address issues that arise at the store level. At this point, for the sake of my time and sanity, I am going to cut my losses and go somewhere else to buy my ink and NEVER purchase anything from Office...
Read moreI will never go back to this location ever again. I was there a couple of months ago. I was trying to get a banner made in honor of my son that I lost due to suicide, so it was very emotional for me. I ordered a 3 foot banner to walk in the out of darkness parade in honor of those that have lost their life due to suicide. They printed a 6 foot banner instead of the 3 foot. The guy Andy, which I’m not sure if he’s still there I told him it was not the right size that I ordered and they did not put the tags where there was supposed to be. I started to cry because like I said it’s very emotional. He told me that they are not paid to be emotional ought to have feelings. I started to cancel my business select but reassured that it would not happen again literally a couple of days ago I went back in to this very location to print some condolences cards for those that have lost a child. I believe it was the manager, tall Caucasian guy, blonde hair glasses, very rude very ugly normally what I was trying to do I was told that they did not have time to help me and that I needed to figure it out myself once again I left the store in tears. I’m in customer service myself and grieving the loss of a child and if I can put on a smiley face and push through the pain of the loss of a child to make sure that my customers are happy, I’m not sure why this gentleman cannot. I would definitely be counseling my business select and go somewhere that has compassion for their customers and treated...
Read moreToo many hands in the pot, bad service. As the store was closing my order, which i was later told would take about 15 minutes, wouldn't be done till the next day. Ok, no problem. The lady I spoke to said SHE would start working on it "as soon as" she got in (11:00) and would call me when ready for pick up. At about 12:30 i was anxious as to where she was on my order, SO I CALLED. She then proceeded to tell me that the pdf file i sent did not go through, information that would've been useful at least an hr prior. I had my husband go in with a flash drive to get what we needed. She told him she could not process the order because she was "training". She handed it over to someone else who my husband had me talk to over the phone. I asked for two images on one sheet which they offered to cut for me. They printed 1 IMAGE ON EACH SHEET, NONE WERE CUT FOR ME & CHARGED DOUBLE FOR MY ORDER, EVEN CHARGED FOR AN ADDITIONAL COPY, that i didn't ask for or receive. One min it was no problem the next it was like they did whatever they wanted just to get us...
