The main stores in this area are a Safeway, a CVS, a Five Guy, Orangetheory Fitness, Dreamers and Thinkers, Tpumps, Foster Nails & Hair, Great Clips, Chase bank, European Wax Center, etc. In the back of the shopping there is a little green square with tables and benches. In front of the shopping you will find the Leo J. Ryan Park.

What a delightful location. My grandson assures me that the Metro Tower is the highest building in Foster City. The tower stands over the Metro Center and a lovely green area with seats and calmness from the nearby shopping area which includes Safeway and CVS + a few restaurants.

I love the Metro Center which has Safeway, Daiso, & CVS Pharmacy all in one place across the best park in San Mateo. Leo J Ryan Park is beautiful with many scenic spots and great for walking. There is also a library and a Wells Fargo and BOA on the same block.

Pros: Good selection of shops: Safeway, CVS, Great Clips, Five Guys, TPumps (a well patronized tea shop), Corner Bakery, some saloons etc. Right in the center of Foster City. Good sized parking lot. Looks good and elegant. Crowd is great.

Cons: Parking are a bit too narrow. I often have to be doubly sure that I won't back into another car. Safeway there often has large checkout queues, even at the...

Nice little place, has a Five Guy's if you're feeling hungry, they serve great burgers. Also comes with a Safeway for groceries and a CVS for convenience. A block away is the waterfront to relax at, or walk around the little park/plaza area behind. It's a great spot to relax and...
