I just took my 4yr old son here to replace the rocks he lost. I never expected such amazing and knowledgeable customer service! Me and my son walked around the store for almost 2 hours and Scott and his other employee (sorry I forgot his name) answered every question as well as showed us a tour of all of their beautiful selection. My son had a great time there but honestly, I think I had more fun lol, it brought me back to when I was a kid collecting rocks! There are rocks from all over the globe and both employees knew each and every one of them like the back of their hand. I’m extremely impressed and very happy that we chose to do business here. You could tell that they take as much pride in their work as well being an honest business. Thank you so much for a great experience for my son as well as for me. We will be returning and referring as often...

Read morei wasn't terribly impressed with the selection. They had a ton of amethyst, geodes, and quartz but their fossil selection was lacking as was their mineral selection. They also don't take credit or debit cards, which is something I didn't find out till I had selected my items and went up to the counter to purchase them. I would have returned the next day to purchase the rocks I had picked out but they wouldn't hold them and quite frankly the two ladies working there were standoffish and rude when I asked. One of them actually rolled her eyes at me. I got this impression this was a "regulars only" type of shop. Overall I was very disappointed. As for the prices, they were on par with every other rock shop I've ever been to. I would recommend the Mines Geology Museum shop over this...
