Read moreSo my computer... Oh, sorry.. My MacBook Pro was giving this problem where it would shut off randomly on me, regardless of what I was doing. Now I'm not a cheap guy, but I like to figure things out for myself when facing a problem. I tried different resets, deleting some apps that may have been troublesome, freeing up space, etc. and nothing worked. Unbelievable, right? Finally, I decided to take it to a shop. After all, I didn't have much time to waste because most of my work is done on this... computer (go ahead, stone me). Obviously, I took it to the MacBook Clinic. However, I first had my brother take it to the Auburn location. There, they realized this issue was quite mysterious so, I was referred to Ahat at the Framingham location. Apparently, Ahat is a mad genius with these things. So, I go see Ahat. When I got to the place, I explained the situation and Ahat gave me some options as to what could be done. Oh, and by the way; they diagnose FOR FREE!! It was hard for me to make up my mind, but Ahat and Marjan, who was also there, were super helpful. It was actually a fun (and funny) experience. After I made up my mind, I was told that my computer would be ready that same day! I couldn't believe it. I expected it to be done in maybe 2 days or so. Needless to say, they work very fast. They even fixed the power key (that I broke) for no extra charge. All of this took place about a week ago and my MacBook Pro is running like new. Ahat and Marjan's communication was top notch, their service was excellent, their patience was a breath of fresh air. They are the real deal. I would go back just to I enjoy their company if I wouldn't be a hindrance to them. Now if you've read this far and still don't get the picture.... GO TO THE...
Read moreThis Clinic does component level checking. Had Mac Book Air M1 with flickering screen do to a crack i thought. bought new screen had it replaced at the Auburn MacBook Clinic, but the screen was not displaying still but you could faintly see the apple logo and you could see that the Mac Book was fin using an external monitor. Auburn did not charge me at all for the replacement but sent me to the Framingham store, even thought they are not affiliated, but do work together on occasion. Framingham store tech started taking it apart, had me sit ,and started testing components, another screen, the new screen ect. In the end it wad found that it was a bad cable but had it not been he was ready to continuing to debug further to see if another component on the motherboard was causing the backlight signal to short. I only had to pay 65 dollars for the repair of the cable.....but had it not been the cable, the tech said 260 max for fixing the component if he had to spend a couple of days figuring out what was wrong....Seriously honest people, smart tech knows apple products very well....I will never go to apple store again.....Oh btw, he sells refurbished Mac's for reasonable money. People, seriously go to this small business to buy used refurbished (by him) Mac's or to have your repairs done on out of warranty mac books, Mac airs ect ect I would give 10 stars if there was an...
