Okay so I should probably say I myself have personal experience working in fashion retail. I read some reviews about this location and am going to share my personal experience as well as offer some, hopefully, helpful advice.
Firstly, I am a thrifter most often. You can find me at Salvation Army for comfortable clothes! I love that place.
Nordstrom Rack is the store for when your wardrobe needs a "pick me up": I go there with headphones on to listen to my own music without letting store music subtly hypnotise or disturb me. I try to spend less than an hour and focus on quality and ensuring my choices coordinate well.
There is a lot of everything at this location: mid level designer brands and fast fashion. I appreciate the basic wardrobe staples at very reasonable prices so much! For example, when getting that "put together chic" look is a headache or life is just under the weather, a basic French Connection tee or Free People top is always going to be trendy and fun because the items are versatile.
It's a better value here than numerous other places where I went, and although the sheer variety on the clearance racks can be very overwhelming, if you go to shop with an image and aesthetic idea and intention in mind, it helps clear distractions.
The store is huge so I would never go to look throughout each department, but they merchandise some of the top finds for wombyn close to the entrance which is really helpful.
Much of the discount racks are full of fun patterns and fabrics, and if you're able to have clothing tailored there is more potential for creating really stunning outfits with what you can buy at an acceptable price here.
The brand name items could be slightly more discounted, but it is what it is. I spent $100 on a free people coat which I will treasure but it should probably only have cost $80. The brands are chic mid level quality brands.
Some of the items I saw are a bit like "costume" apparel which I was trying to avoid because I have already lived that phase... it is easy to get distracted here because of the amount of selection. Stay focused lol
The prices seem fair on the candles and perfumes- less than a boutique, more than a thrift shop, but it feels easier and less stressful here unless you're primarily shopping clearance racks only.
Very pleasant experience at the fitting room when I asked for help to narrow down my choices. She could not have been more helpful and kind and courteous, thank you!
I feel empathy for the cashiers working because I know how it is. The line was long when I went to checkout and management only had two people available. My heart goes out to the team here - we understand companies run lean on customer service. Nonetheless, very efficient and courteous checkout experience.

Read moreI have shopped in this store and this location for years and when I had a problem I have always been met by a manager with kindness and flexibility…well not today. I bought three skirts online and two were perfect ( ladies large) and one wax supposed to be a ladies large but wouldn’t go past my ankles. It fit more like a child’s large. Unfortunately it was final sale yet when I went to bring it back to the store I was met with rigidity from a young man in a Lynard Skynard t- shirt who said he was the store manager and I final sale was a final sale. I work in customer service so I know how I bend backwards to make a customer feel whole. This guy was rude, dismissive and not what I expected from “ the rack”. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Sorry dude, you might just have ruined this...
Read moreI’ve been a longtime customer. This is the second time I’ve gone into your store with a small purchase this week and you don’t have any bags. You don’t have any bags for smaller purchases really? And it’s pouring rain, so I’m walking out of your store with my purchase without it being protected. And the woman that waited on me at the counter could’ve cared less in fact when I went to give her my phone number as a Nordstrom member, she said never mind because my purchase wasn’t big enough for her to even bother with it! So disappointed for the second time in Natick customer service. I realize it’s hard. I’m in customer service but politeness is everything to get me to return or anyone to return., a bag would be nice in the pouring rain. Just an acknowledgment that I’m...
