This rating is specifically concerning the Shakira concert. Let’s start with the parking. $40 to walk over 20 minutes is crazy. If that was the worst of it, we’d be good. After the 2.5 mile walk, we found a line that stretched down cedar and around bulldog lane. This line lead into an open area where there was no structure. This is where amateur hour was on full display. They had 1 “lane” that was reserved for floor seating/vip. This lane was wide open until people reached the front of the line. This forced 2 staffers to try to do damage control. As we were waiting for what seemed to be an eternity, the show started. Knowing they were going to lose control they gave up and opened the floodgates. So now you have a venue full of unchecked patrons. No security screening or ticket checks. Once inside finding your section can be a challenge as we saw a few disputes in our section over seating. Mostly due to the section numbers not being easily identifiable. Overall comfort is a joke. Bleacher seats that are packed in tightly. Hope you like whoever is seated by you! You will make contact with them. Concessions: The only place without a line and that probably has to do to the $20 modelo. Paying a premium for a drink is normal but this was just excessive. Last thing: reducing the price of floor seats after we bought upper bowl to less than what we paid was a huge Slap in the face. While that was their first show there it was most...
Read moreThis stadium is outdated and worn out. The entire stadium is difficult to access and exit. The sound system sucks and echos back from one end to the other. The bleacher seats are old and uncomfortable. The premium "red seats" are so old they are pink. Parking is horrible, especially for guests and the handicapped (you get bussed from the other side of campus). They tried a couple ADA type updates along the way that has just made the lower portion worse. Time for the wrecking ball and to start over. This stadium was a bad design from the start. No access to seats except from the top that you climb a huge steep hill or stairs to get up to, just to climb back down to your seats, or from the bottom that is overcrowded and badly organized and then you still climb up to your seats. The only option is all the way up or all the way down 50-60 rows. As usual there was a fight in the "no standing area" where lots of people were standing and drinking. When did jumbo beers become a good idea? Horrible experience. I'm surprised Valley Children's put their name on that piece of junk. What's happening with all the money FSU is making off the horribly planned commercial development on the east end of campus on Fresno...
Read moreValley Children's Stadium in Fresno is a fantastic venue for sports fans! The 41,031-seat arena is home to Fresno State Bulldogs football and also hosts women's soccer and lacrosse games. The stadium is impressive, with plenty of seating and great sightlines from virtually every section.
One of the most convenient things about attending events here is the bus shuttle service from the university to the stadium. It makes getting there super easy and hassle-free, which is a big plus, especially on game days when parking can get crowded.
As for the game experience, the heat during the summer games can get pretty intense, but it only adds to the excitement! The atmosphere is vibrant, and the energy from the crowd makes for an unforgettable experience. Whether you're watching football, soccer, or lacrosse, there’s always something thrilling happening here.
The stadium is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, Valley Children's Stadium is a great place to catch a game, and if you're in Fresno, it’s a must-visit for any sports fan. Highly...
