Read moreWent for a birthday party. Lack of space for adults to occupy (you’re in a hallway type space with chairs all along one wall). Didn’t realize you couldn’t take the pizza’s home (they aren’t “licensed”). My youngest son is 4 with ASD, so the crowded areas weren’t comfortable for him to eat - so something to be aware of if your child has special needs or has space/crowd issues… When my oldest daughter was walking my son out while I made our goodbyes, the front desk lady yelled at her for attempting to take the pizza out of the building. When this happened, my daughter immediately dropped everything because my son ran out of the building and ended up scraping his knee. Not really their fault for his injury, but you cannot be yelling at children in a “supposedly” children’s environment. Her lack of “customer service”, snappy attitude, not speaking honestly with adults in a friendly manner, and not making children feel comfortable needs to be worked on. This wasn’t a cooking class, but more of a demonstration. Wouldn’t recommend for special needs children (my own personal experience), children under 8 or over 12 or if your child has zero experience in or around a kitchen setting ahead of time. The only staff member that was really on the children’s level and made them feel comfortable was Chef Raven.
Update: They claim to have reached out to me multiple times, but the number they have isn’t mine - probably trying to contact the number left at sign in. Anyway, being a child with special needs or not, you do not yell at children. Any child. It was completely disrespectful, and I do not wish to speak with y’all for y’all to try and correct the situation. It is done and over with. I wish y’all the best of luck and hopefully y’all will be a little more considerate...
Read moreMy son was extremely excited to come here. He talked about it all week. We decided to get to the 11am class early and we arrived at 1030. Upon arrival, 2 employees were having personal conversations at the front desk. The young guy was complaining in very specific detail about the lack of pay he was receiving and how good he was at his job but nobody cared. Another young lady came out and told us to go to kitchen 3. We have never been here and have no idea where kitchen 3 is so we walked down the hallway. As we approaches the end of the hallway, she hollered down the hallway, "class isn't ready yet." We sat in the chairs outside the kitchen and listened to the young man continue to complain about his job. I didn't want my son to hear any more of his complaining so we proceeded to go and sit in my car until class was ready. As soon as we got out to the car the lady that hollered down the hallway and the complaining employee raced out to my car like we were stealing something, demanding that we get out of the car and return the apron. I simply told them we are going to sit here for a few minutes until your class starts. She stood at my car window like she was ready to call the cops and made my 10-year-old son get out of the car because he had their apron on. These people are so unprofessional, rude and have zero customer service skills. I don't know who the owner is but you must read this message and do something about your business. You're embarrassing the community and the kids that come here with...
