Beer is pricey and tastes a bit funky, like the lines and taps could use a good cleaning. They definitely need live entertainment during the weekends and weekdays. UPDATE: Going down hill fast! This place could be an amazing addition to Front Royal if the owner would put some money and energy into the place. The beer is way too expensive, on average $7.00 a glass, the tap lines need to be cleaned and sanitized regularly, the entire place needs to be cleaned and sanitized, the outside area would benefit immensely by having it landscaped with pavers, gazebo, or some other structure to protect customers from the weather, and a stage with good live entertainment performing on it regularly. A nice touch would be a outside grill where hamburgers hotdogs and etc could be offered. THEY CLOSE ENTIRELY TO EARLY, EVEN ON...
Read moreWe encountered one of their brochures at an earlier stop and since we were traveling right through Front Royal, we decided to stop in. When we got to the front steps, we read that the didn't open until 4 pm (it was 2 pm). Another one of those unexpected interesting adventures one comes across from...

This is just a great little town and it has what is almost a beer district right here on Chester St. with several breweries or beer outlets from which to choose. The Virginia beer museum really caught my attention and the young lady getting ready to open for business was so inviting so cordial so knowledgeable and so much fun I just couldn’t resist. I’ll post a picture of their array of beers but the one that really got my attention was George Washington’s original brew which I have to say has an air of colonial nostalgia and history about it. I’m gonna tour the inside rooms again and take a few more pictures but for anyone visiting front Royal Virginia this is must say...
