On Cue Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Front Royal

Read all the reviews, and felt it would be a good place to take my nephew. Walked in, and there were two waitresses standing at the bar, besides a small handful of people, the restaurant was empty. No one walked up and greeted us. We picked a table, and decided to ask the waitresses for a menu. They got us menus, and placed us in a different area than we picked. That was fine. We were wrapping up a discussion we were having on our way there, and began to look at the menu. Within two minutes of being seated, we were asked if we were ready to order. I stayed it was our first time and we would need a bit. Fast forward 2 minutes later, waitresses comes up to our table and asks "are you ready to order yet". I stated no, we haven't gotten to read all the items of the menu yet. I was informed "well, if you are just going to sit and talk all night, then move to the bar so we can keep the tables open." I said yes ma'am, but as she walked away, I stated to my nephew the restaurant is empty, and thought that this was weird. She turned around and stated " are you going to move or not" this is when i handed her the menus and stated we would leave. Never have i dealt with such rude waitresses. I will not go here again, and I will discourage others from going as swell. I went to the new skyline bar and grille, and found the atmosphere amazing, the waitress sweet and endearing, and the food impeccable. You may have been able to get away with rudeness before, when you were the only bar and grill here, but you won't anymore. Never in my born days have I wanted to come across the table and pummel someone as I did tonight. Absolutely disgusting. All I can say is WOW. This was our second time here, the first time wasn't very good. ( Spicy shrimp tacos and onion rings ) It was not at all what I was expecting. Very bland tasting. So we gave it a second chance today. Our experience was no better than the first time. Philly chicken cheese and fries. Let me tell you the beer and fries were good. I believe it was $2.50 for about 10 fries . Now for the sub , I have never had any restaurant try to pass off a hot dog roll as a sub roll. Now I ordered a chicken Philly and provolone cheese with fried onions and portobello mushrooms with lettuce and tomato and mayonnaise. When the server finally brought our order to the table there was no lettuce or tomato or mayonnaise on the sandwich. Our server was nice enough to go to the kitchen and bring the lettuce and tomato to our table so we could make our own sandwich.After two bites something didn't taste right. So after opening and looking I could not find the portobello mushrooms. So even after trying to dress the sandwich up I could not eat it. When our server returned and asked if everything was ok. I said well the beer and fries were good but there is no way I could stomach eating the sandwich . It didn't seem like this was any concern to her at all. Let's me tell you, I have never waisted $56.00 on a piss poor meal . So you got me twice but you will not get me again. So if they don't delete my review. Hear me out. If you are looking for a beer and fries go for it. But save yourself some money. The food really sucks. Oh yeah I had to give a one star review just to write this review. I was SO happy to see such a cool place open up at home with so many pool tables. My fiancé and I had some good food and a few cool experiences here, to the point I recommended a whole group of my girlfriends go here and meet up with another large group of friends recently for a special occasion. I have NEVER struggled to receive service ever before like we did in this place on this occasion. We had to request to be served multiple times while others were served more than once after we walked up, to which their clearly intoxicated bar back responded by spitting all over our faces and telling us he couldn’t serve us because he wasn’t a bartender. He returned to harass us multiple times while we waited to be served to the point we said “he’s NOT the bartender, let’s just ignore it”… then my friends were kicked out. The drunk bar back returned to the rest of our group afterwards to berate the other group TO us, it was clear he was so intoxicated that he didn’t realize we were all together and just arrived separately. The rest of our group closed out immediately and chose to spend our money elsewhere. This experience was so negative it will def overshadow just about any pro the establishment could offer. So...
