Warren Rifles Confederate Museum — Attraction in Front Royal

Took my students on a brief field trip to this museum and we all enjoyed it. Lots of local Civil War history with an abundance of artifacts on display like old uniforms, war torn flags, and lots of rifles! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The museum is all on one level and they have a small gift shop with books, flags, stickers, etc. Photography is not allowed in the museum itself. The gentleman that works here is very knowledgeable and helpful. I told him about my ancestors being mosbys rangers and he got his personal book and showed me my ancestors names. He made a copy for me to take home. What a nice guy and this place has amazing books relics even Belle Boyd's dress! This place is cool, they have a lot of authentic items and a knowledgeable staff. The fee is $5.00 which is less than you can spend on a cup of coffee so for me it was well worth it.
