Schewels Home — Local services in Front Royal

I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. Ultimately this is a mostly positive review and I want to support my local store so I went with 4 stars.

The big advantage is this is a local store so we can go in for some window shopping. We've done it several times and the sales person remembered us.

In fact, if my experience was just the sales person I'd leave a 5 star review.

There are two problems though, which is why the risk of a 3 star review.

The "office" staff was not particularly helpful. We finished the credit application and felt like we were intruding to get the application and purchase processed. Honestly it took an hour even after we knew what we wanted.

My other negative is a "sale" that felt a bit disingenuous. We were told to come back and they had a buy one get one deal going on, which was perfect since we were buying 2 chairs but not a set. The chairs we looked at were listed at ~$600 but then the fine print on the ad was the pricing was based on the "comparable value." That was like $950 so we got both chairs for $950 instead of $1200, so still a good deal but it was $350 more than we expected.

I'm still waiting to experience delivery so will update the review...

I bought a $1500 bed frame and matresses at this place then when I go back to try and purchase a laptop a few months later and make an early payment while im there this one girl who works at the was so rude and had the worsr customer service skills ever.. She absolutely looks miserable once you step foot in the place . i got that same feeling the first time i went in the store...she is a very bitter human being and have no idea why anyone in there right mind would have that young lady deal with customers when just the presence of her ruins your day..thanks to her ill never step foot in that place...one more payment left and will be making payment over the phone...i called the store back to let them know my bad experience and the finance lady said shed let the manager know...good luck with that.....the young skinny girl with glasses is HORRIBLE for...

If I could give Front Royal Schewels 100 stars I would. They came through for my family when we needed them too. We have a Schewels in Luray and they did not want to work with us our stove went out and we have a large family my wife and I went to Front Royal received the best service and they delivered and installed the new stove. Then the mower died and once again they helped us, its a shame you have to go out of your community, to get excellent customer service, Thank you for all...
