Superb Quality / Quantity for the Price

I stayed here when attending a Wedding at Fullerton Arboretum. My first thought about the accommodations was that it seemed impressively upscale for the price. I've staying in many hotels that were more costly that had less features. I believe that part of the reason for the attention to detail is the proximity to Disneyland

The lobby has a restaurant and bar just inside the door. There was live music both Friday and Saturday night.

My room had a California King bed, a full bathroom including a monstrous spa / tub. The room included a half-stack fridge and a 42-inch LCD TV. At the end was a couch that could be folded into another full-size bed. Thankfully, the closet had a wall-mounted iron and ironing board.

I had one issue when staying at this hotel. The room I was given at first, the fridge was not plugged in. When I found the cord plugged it in, it exploded in a rain of sparks and knocked out the whole circuit. When I called the Concierge, he was very quick to get me another room. It took maybe 5 minutes to move to the next room where the fridge was in good working order.

The Spa was awesome. It was large enough to more than accommodate two adults. Filling and draining it was almost noiseless.

I've become accustomed to "continental breakfast" as most hotels serve it. And although this hotel does offer a complimentary continental breakfast, it is far more than a few pastries and cereal. DONT EVERR STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT ALL OF YOUR BELONGINGS AND CARS STOLEN! On December 9, some friends and I stayed at the holiday inn and went out to go clubbing. Came back 3 hours later to see my friends cars not there. We ran into our hotel room and see all of our belongings gone! All of my makeup bag, luggage, two purses, skin care, AirPods, car, house and office keys, clothes, shoes was stolen and gone. My friends MacBook, luggage etc car keys etc. gone. The robbers stole the car keys from our room and stole two of my friends cars in the hotel parking lot. We immediately tell the front desk and we called the police to make a report. We asked to see video surveillance and they showed us video footage of the two thief’s stealing and driving off with my friends cars. It definitely was more worth than $40,000 worth of our belongings that they stole. We spoke with management as well and they did not want to help us out at all. One of them laughed in our face saying if we think it was our friends who did it. There’s no way it could be when they were With us. I followed up with the General manager today and he talked to me so rudely saying there’s nothing they can do, it’s our fault, and other rude remarks that shouldn’t be said to customers in this difficult situation. I would like some compensation to our stolen items in your guys hotel room. This is very upsetting we put our trust going into your hotel rooms and to come back and our entire belongings are gone is beyond tragic! I am working in CA during the week and then commuting home on weekends. So I need a comfortable place to stay and get some rest. Overall I am quite pleased. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room, well, The room wasn't as good as I have had in past business trips but it is still good. Weird sticky spots on the ceiling above the tub and a dampish rag left in my room one day. These were minor things that were addressed but maybe should never have come up. I think some other reviewers had commented on the noise of the AC units. They are loud. Very. Loud. But click them on low and all good travellers have a pair of soft ear plugs so sleeping is no problem. Water pressure good, hot water plentiful. Rooms had a recently redone look and the TV worked fine with lots of options. Wireless internet worked and was speedy. The breakfast buffet was about standard, nothing wow but a good starter. The lounge has food all week but the restaurant is not open all day for dinner. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance. Yes I said walking distance and this is a neighborhood I felt comfortable walking in. While this not a 5 star top place I have to say it is THE PLACE for me to stay while I am working here.
