Georgia's Own Credit Union — Attraction in Gainesville

Several years ago, we opened an account with Georgia's Own and it was our first experience with a credit union. They provided excellent service but like fools, we left them for BB&T thinking they would offer us a better business product and that was the biggest mistake we ever made! After a couple of months, we went running back! We have our business and our personal accounts at Georgia's Own and we must say that the service that they provide is nothing short of outstanding! They are honest and fair in their dealings and that is very hard to find with any banking institution. And they really care about their customers. By far the worst bank ive ever used no customer support without calling there call center that closes at 4 pm with the bank branches . Might seem far to workers but when your card gets locked up at night you have to wait til the next day to get support on it. Call center is confusing to use and even tranfer from georgia own to georgia own there is a hold on money . They told me on the phone they cant do bank to bank transfer to regions bank . My account was locked up because i logged in on my computer for the first time called was told to change my password so i did they locked it up 3 times while on the phone with one of the “support team members” more like useless individual (s) would give zero...

My spouse and I visited this branch to open a new account, and we were helped by Community Manager, Brian. He gave us amazing customer service and everyone at the branch was very polite and friendly! I cannot rave enough about Brian - my spouse is not easy to please, but Brian was so informative and helpful, we were just overly pleased with the interaction. Brian was not pushy at all and educated us on everything we needed to know and more. I highly recommend this branch location and Brian's customer service deserves raving...
