I remember the day when Lakeshore Mall was the thriving place to be on Saturdays we might have seen maybe for possibly five people in belts customer service is the pits the shoe department is 90% casual or youth not keeping the seniors into consideration the clothing department prices are ridiculous in these doors don't realize they are the reason the malls of today or dying because they are pushing consumers to purchase what they need online. I have a company that I ordered my dress is from and I can get to awesome nice dresses and I do gospel music that are very appropriate for my concerts for the price of one dress in belt 30 to $35 for a t-shirt absolutely outrageous. These Merchants need to go back to Ground Zero if it works don't fix it keep it in mind the old saying less is more their prices are no longer competitive with the online shopping opportunities I used to love bounce used to do there just about every Saturday not no more I can even get their fragrances half price in other places yesterday was very discouraging and disappointing for a plus size woman when the majority of their clothes weren't for half naked women and sizes to fit an elbow. I might be 74 but granny still loves color fashion comfort and bling I know this sounds cruel but if people checked the prices online for similar products they were find that everything I have said is...
Read moreTook our kids to see santa a week before Christmas. We walk up and Santa is basically a sleep. There was no line , so we walk over to Santa, and my kids were very excited. The kids sit down on Santa's lap, and literally are done in 10 seconds . Santa doesn't speak to my kids, act excited, or even look like he wants to be there. We purchase a picture package because we drove 45 min to see santa. My kids asked me what was wrong with Santa? As we were walking out. I said what do you mean? They said santa didn't talk, and he looked mad. I had to lie to my kids and tell them he was tired, and resting for Christmas. It broke my heart. What happened to the excitement , and the joy of speaking with Santa on Christmas? I called the mall to explain my situation and to tell them what had happened. And I get, you more then welcome to come back and spend more time with Santa on any day!?!?! Are you kidding me, we will never step foot in that mall again , especially to see santa. This was a sad day, and it just goes to show you what our world is coming to. Don't waste your time on the Santa stop...
Read moreVisited Lakeshore Mall a few days ago before Christmas. I was surprised to see that there was no set up for pictures with Santa this year. Indeed, it seems like this mall is in a slow decline with Finish Line, Books-A-Million, Cato Fashions, Great American Cookies co., Belk and Dick's Sporting Goods being the only brand name stores/eateries left in the mall. It seems like only yesterday that Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret and J.C. Penny were still around, but eventually left due to several reasons. Not to say that there are still businesses in the mall that are thriving like the Nails Studio & Spa, FlipNFun Gymnastics for the kids & families, and the Shoe Dept. Encore where you can find good deals on shoes. The inside of the mall serves as a great place to exercise walk around with 4-5 laps equating to 1 mile. Overall, a nice quiet mall with some good deals if you...
