Breeza Beachwear — Attraction in Galveston

Purchased an LOL Doll from this gift shop and it was FAKE!!! You can't see what's inside because they come in a ball wrapped up and inside this box. They are selling counterfeit products.They had the front counter full of these LOL boxes! All of which are fake! My poor niece was frightened by the doll after opening it! The head was not attached to the doll. The body had black spots all over. The paint on the face was pealing off and looked worn out. The plastic pieces that came with it looked old, dull, and faded. It also smelled so bad when she opened it! It smelled like a super strong plastic smell! They should not be selling fake merchandise!!!! I would have never purchased it if I had known it was fake!!!! When I called the store, they were rude and unapologetic! The manager told me I should just cut my loses and move on! RUDE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RETAILER! They are ordering fake merchandise from China only to ripoff people! What they are doing is not right! I also called LOL corporate and they said the doll is suppose to have a license # on the back which it does not! BUT just looking at this thing you can tell right away that...

Place is a joke. Was double charged for a basic chair. Overcharged for an umbrella that was broken (we tried taking it back right after we planted it in the beach and they were absolutely adamant about not even giving us a replacement.) Don't get me wrong I knew better. Staying summers near Myrtle Beach in the 90s wings were everywhere, and trust me when I say they haven't changed one thibgg and still sell the same garbage. Again, I knew better, but we needed chairs and an umbrella. Why I didn't go to the local Kroger or surf shop first is beyond me. Maybe I was teaching the kids a valuable lesson on getting ripped off. I honestly can't believe these places are still in business, but it's idiot tourists who know better like myself and keep them running because of the convenience. It hasn't changed, the management hasn't changed, their insane policies haven't changed, the prices have gone up, and every single last thing in the store is junk that will break in a matter of days or a few weeks. Stay far....far away.

Oh yeah, the second umbrella was busted,...

Purchased a pair of Shark Rescue sunglasses on 08/18/24 for $24.99. Within three weeks the glasses showed heavy oxidation on the lenses, and are unusable; however, were only worn a few times. I attempted to exchange the Shark Rescue sunglasses as their construction/quality is poor. The manager informed me that Breeza does not exchange after 7 days even in the event of defect.

I am not tourist. I am a local to the island. I wanted to support local and my community businesses. I respectfully informed the manager that I would not return to do further business with Breeza and that I would advise friends/family and post this review.

The manager offered the standard non authentic apology and claimed to have no ability to assist.

Next step. I will contact my credit card company and request a chargeback for the defective, poor quality product.
