See's Candies — Attraction in Gilbert

I recently visited See's Candies after hearing a recommendation from a friend, but my experience was disappointing. I was excited to bring back some unique gifts from the U.S. for my family while traveling overseas. However, the service I received was underwhelming. When I asked to sample one of their chocolates—mind you, it was my second sample and my first visit—an employee rudely informed me that she couldn't provide "tons of samples." Despite the poor customer interaction, I purchased five boxes of chocolates. Before leaving, I felt compelled to mention to her that a friendly demeanor could enhance the customer experience, especially since my intentions were to buy, not to steal. Unfortunately, this experience has dissuaded me from returning to or recommending See's Candies...

The candy is very good. The employees, however, are not good. They have taken the mask business to extremes. If you don't have a mask they require that you stay outside and place your order rather than offering you one. Who orders candy unseen? They are rude and condescending when telling you to pull your mask over your nose and making it very clear that you are not to come near them. They only allow a very few in the store and the others must wait on the sidewalk, rain or shine. They even require toddlers to be masked. The entire store is like a fortress with plastic barriers every where. I do not want to shop in a business that has taken things to extreme. I will not return and be treated...

My fiance came and got me a box the other day and I had sent him a list of things that I wanted from online, instead of the worker saying she didn't have certain pieces she added pieces she thought would be okay which is not okay at all... it was 10% of everything I wanted but she added more things that weighed more so instead of being 32 like the online price it was 42... I'd enjoy coming to this location but it doesnt make sense when you dont wanna just be honest about certain things so it could be fixed in the moment... it only takes a few questions to get it right,ive been here a few times and some of the ladies just don't...
