This is a small plaza with 2 great places: Foxy Pizza and Whole Foods. Others seem to come n go. In the 80s-90s like everywhere..tons of great shops inc a camera shop but like majority of sm businesses in CT..shops closed up and only basic unimaginative places filled their spots. Im someone old enough to recall towns n cities teaming with entrepreneurial businesses and family owned drug stores. Ever since Walmart & CVS pushed every place outta business and banks have merged and insurance companies like The Aetna have been bought out..by CVS! Megacorps have squeezed out the wonderful places that existed since the 1950s. Fox Run Malls long time renters like Foxy remind me of the family owned businesses of yesteryear. Theres a Petsmart in there too which on occasion has adorable kittens from Protectors of Animals displayed and cats needing adoption. Its a supply franchise so no animals for sale per se. Theyve had pet photographers there however and specialty events so thats fun to take...
Read moreThis indoor strip mall is making a come back. Stores became few and far over the last decade but more and more shops are occupying the vacant spots. Food, eyeglass/contacts, laser hair removal to name a few off the top of my head. Very clean and very modern facade with nice detail and art throughout. Plenty of parking and there's even some walkways outside with benches and a pond to walk around or sit for a few and watch the local ducks...
