Blue Dragon Vapor & Smoke Shop Glendale. — Attraction in Glendale

My son went in today to purchase his juice, and was told he could not make a purchase because his friend did not have his id on him. Very confused, because his friend had left the store prior to the purchase even occurring. They had both been in the store checking vapes etc for at least 20 min. Both sampling them with their mods. Why wouldn’t he id them upon entrance? Also, there were underage people in the store playing connect 4 and fort nite too. Also, another customer with a child made a purchase prior to him. What is the policy? I ask this because he goes out of his way to be a customer at this store, at minimum ever other week. He loves the store, the set-up, the products & the prices. He passes many other vape shops for this one. He had his id attempting to make a purchase & was refused because his friend did not have one. How does this even make sense? We thought a person had to show proof of being 18 to make a purchase. I have seen people with underage persons with them in stores who are able to purchase cigarettes & alcohol & they certainly don’t have an id, and are standing right next to adults who do have id. With as much competition as there is in the vape market, I just thought you would want to be aware that you have now lost 3 regular customers. The irony is his friend had his id in the vehicle, & offered to go back in with my son so he could make a purchase. But nah, he just took his business elsewhere. It’s one thing to have a policy & stick to it, but what is it? Is it; must be over 18 with valid id to enter store? Obviously not, since no id was checked on anyone upon entrance. Or is it; everybody who comes into the store together must ALL be able to have valid id in order to allow someone over 18, with valid id to make a purchase? Obviously not, since clearly there was a purchase made by an adult with a child beside her....

Let me start out by saying I love this place. They have always been so great. I vape a particular juice that they carried and then stopped carrying it. I was bummed, obviously but the employee recommended an excellent new flavor to try. After I purchased that they said let me see what we can do and to come back in a few days. (This was the Mesa location off Dobson/University) When I came back, they had it again. They had reached out to the manager/owner and was able to bring it back. Also, when I walk in, almost every employee I have come across remembers what vape I have and what juice and strength I use.. Just great customer service like that.. I work in the Mesa/Tempe area so I tend to go to either that location or the one by where I live which is this location, 59th Ave and Bell. Nate is such a cool dude. I went in to buy some pods for my geekVape and we chatted for a bit. Very knowledgeable dude with e-liquid and vapes. You can tell he is passionate about it. We also talked about video games. I can’t recommend this place enough. Nate, thank you for the help and the info! You’re a cool dude and I hope you do end up getting to do that MarioKart tournament! I’ll definitely be back for all of my vape/eliquid needs. This place is such a great shop with great employees and an insanely wide variety of products.. and if they DONT carry it, they may start if you ask about it. Hands down best vape shop in the valley by FAR. Can’t wait to see them continue to...

We moved out here from Illinois a little over a year ago, I do have to say that I miss my vape shop from Illinois. I have tried a few shops out here and had decided to give my business to only this shop since we moved here and it's been a monthly thing buying a pack of coils and a few hundred ml of their house juice. I have bought a few mods and tanks from them in the past year. The team there is fantastic, super friendly and knowledge. I went in originally to just buy a bottle of juice, but with talking to one of the gents maning the counter I was between picking up a mod to go with my Smok Beast at home or just a tank since mine leaks, or a new tank that won't bleed juice. I had decided to purchase a tank. I am still looking into getting a new mod that can support the Beast, and will definitely do my research to find one that will work for me.

Final update to this review: Returned to BDV looking into getting a mod for the tank at home, stepping up from an internal battery to a regulated removable battery device was intimidating but the staff was awesome. They addressed every concern we had with the switch over and even offered us a few options we hadn't considered before. Do have to say that it really helped kill any hesitation about upgrading. Fantastic...
