This place is really bottom of the barrel. Pay the extra money to stay somewhere else and this is coming from someone that is not very high maintenance. I was unfamiliar with the area before booking. I felt unsafe upon arrival but the hotel was booked through Expedia and you know you have to give an arm, leg, and first born to cancel a booking with them. I get to the hotel office and I was waiting a while to check in because the employee was on the property doing other things. Cool understandable. My room was on the third floor and the elevator was out. I had to carry a suitcase and bags up 3 flights of stairs!! My room was on the back side of the hotel which I felt unsafe about. I passed a room with a boarded up window on the way. I get to my room and the door is broken so I had to lug everything back down three flights to go back to the office so the employee could switch my room. My new room was still on the third floor but this time on the front side of the hotel. The room was basic but I wasn't expecting much for the price. They left a bottle of pink solution in my room. I felt the need to deep clean everything before touching anything. So within 30 minutes of checking in I hear arguing outside. I look outside and see there is a full out fight in the parking lot (see pics). Then a couple hours later there were police cars outside for a separate incident (see pics). I stayed here for a couple of days and I felt it was in my best interest to make it back to my room before the sun went down. The pros of this place was the location. It was within walking distance to a grocery store, a couple of restaurants, and the bus line. It had hot water and heat. If you stay on the front side third floor you may get a great view of the mountains. But that's about it. Like I said before, it is best to pay a few more dollars to stay at a better place.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. I wish I would have read reviews before we booked here. :( upon arrival we couldn't get into our room (room 100) the plate by the door lock was coming unscrewed causing the door to stick and need to be pushed open by a forceful shoulder (see photo). After finally getting into our room we were accosted by the heat. We tried getting it to work ourselves with no avail and called the front desk. After a while a maintenance man came with a replacement and was able to cool the room (he was very nice, I didn't catch his name). Our next issue came with how filthy the room was (see photos) we asked to be moved to a different room or get a refund to go somewhere else and neither were possible. So we toughed it out and wore our shoes while inside the room and didn't use the stove or cupboards. Our last problem was with the toilet. The tank wouldn't fill, so we were unable to flush the toilet. We called the front desk again and they said they would put in a "work order" for it. We thought "Okay awesome, we will take our valuables with us leave for a few hours come back and it will be fixed". Unfortunately that wasn't the case. After another call we were told the maintenance man went home and it will have to wait till the next day. We stayed for 3 days/2 nights and had to fill the toilet tank up with water from the sink with a cup every time in order to use it as they were unable to refund/move us to a new room. 🙃 on our last day the front desk girl came by before check out time (came at 10am, checkout isn't until 11am) to ask us to leave as there were more people needing to check into the room. (Not necessarily a problem, just have never had that happen before in the MANY hotels/motels we've stayed at and thought it was weird.) Again, don't go here unless you have to.

This place was an absolute slum. From the filthy rooms and walkways to drug addicts banging on the doors in the middle of the night. I spoke with the front desk multiple times regarding the clogged sink as well as requested housekeeping to clean the room. They told me they would take care of it but never bothered. I contacted guest relations through Red Roof the first night, who directed me to work out the issues with the property manager. If a solution could not be found, then they would address my complaints after I checked out. Sneaky devils made me wait so they wouldn't have to issue me a refund. As a result, I'm posting this review to ensure that they don't do this to anyone else. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Spend the extra cash on a decent place. *UPDATE* I'd just like to add that I've contacted customer service for Red Roof Inn, who own the property, via their website, their customer service phone number, and the link that their representatives post in other poor reviews for this cesspool. No one has ever returned my calls or emails with the exception of the first call when I was asked to "try to work things out with the property manager", you know, the one who is never around. This place is a joke and their reps have never bothered to respond to this review unlike others. Shameful!! *UPDATE 2* I was never contacted by the owner, management, corporate, etc. They still haven't bothered to respond to this review, which is telling. Red Roof Inn Corporate only cares about their bottom line and misleading customers. Furthermore, every review echos what I've said about this place. Attempts to involve the BBB, Health Department, or the city habe been fruitless. All I can do is just sound the alarm for everyone to stay away from this place and these crooks.

The room was absolutely one of the filthiest places I have ever stay in in my entire life. There was dirt all over the floor, there was hair all over the shower and on the sheets. The bathroom door will not close. Upon further inspection of the sheets, as you can see, not only is there the hair, there is a yellow discoloration, a dead bug, and dried blood. I could not bring myself to sleep in the bed, so I had to go down to the office and request clean sheets, so I changed the bedding myself. The front desk staff didn't question why I was requesting clean sheets in a room that I had just checked into, perhaps this is a common occurrence?! I did not sleep with a blanket as that was disgusting as well and I did not receive a new clean one. The shower curtain doesn't work, so water goes all over the floor and will likely eventually ruin the flooring underneath if it hasn't already done so. I'm quite sure there is mold under there. The entire room reeked of cigarette smoke, which is most unfortunate for me as I have asthma. I would have check out and gone elsewhere once I saw the condition of the room, but everywhere was booked. Room service never once showed up, so there was never any clean towels or anything provided to be beyond the couple that hung in the bathroom. Lastly, there was a bag of trash that was left just sitting outside my door for over a day, and there was dry blood splatter in the elevator that I took a picture of as well. Why was there dried blood splatter in the elevator?! Was someone the victim or a horrific crime?!! Check out the photos I took of the room, whatever you do, don't stay here!!!!

GROSS!! I ended up going to the emergency room and having major surgery at the hospital. The hospital called them to tell them to hold my stuff. Unfortunately, one of the employees stole my Xbox video console. I will be back to report a stolen very soon and will never stay at this place ever again, no thank you. They should refund me all my money and replace any stolen merchandise!!
