Vaguely remember visiting a sugar factory in Phoenix over 50 years ago when I was 5. Saw this pop up on Google and went to investigate. Could be the same place, how many Sugar beet processors could there have been back then? Saw the plaques but did not see anything that was obviously a public museum. Believe that part may have been abandoned. Which is a shame. A key component of soda-pop is sugar and Phoenix gets hot in the summer, so this is a monument of making the Valley of the Sun habitable.
