I come here all the time. It is like a city Target, it's more of a "curated" selection - they have a little different items than a regular Target.
I order drive-up pick ups often for essentials, and often times also end up missing an item or two, which is annoying. I've never had an issue reporting the missing items for a refund in the app though.
One thing I noticed about Milwaukee is there are way too many huge grocery stores with tons of food that is close to expiring, and I haven't really had that problem with items from this location. I'm assuming it's because it's often busy and items sell out quickly. The downside is they are sometimes out of what I need.
Customer service here is good, and I've only ever had pleasant interactions with the people working.
HOWEVER! Their carts are horrible. I had one lock on me in the parking lot in traffic with my toddler and all of my groceries. On top of that I had recently had a major surgery and really shouldn't even have been lifting my toddler into and out of the cart. Luckily a kind stranger in the parking lot saw me struggling and helped me carry all my groceries to the car while I grabbed my son.
This happened AGAIN last week when I brought a cart into the store from the parking lot. It locked up as soon as I got through the doors. It messed up my shoulder because it stopped so suddenly.
They need to take the locks off the carts or fix the problem. It's a deterrent for me and based on the comments, many others, to even want to continue shopping here unless it's to run in for an item or two that doesn't...
Read moreI don't normally take the time to complain in public like this but it feels valid. I live close to this Target and was happy when it opened. Unfortunately, due to a few recent experiences, I will do my best not to return. Both times I was shopping with my young children (one time with a baby in the cart) and the first time there were NO employees helping to check customers out. I had to check myself out, a full cart of groceries with my baby sitting in the cart. Then, both times my cart locked in the middle of the parking lot before I returned to my car. The first time I was confused and the second I was furious.
I realize Target has to protect themselves against losing carts but the inconvenience and the safety hazard that this cart locking practice brings will protect themselves against good paying customers.
I tried to relay my complaint to Target online and they told me to contact the store. I contacted the store and the woman told me that's just what they do and then placed me on hold to talk to a manager who never answered. My message to Target: you have a great location but this location will not succeed if you treat...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience today at Target, specifically in the dressing room area. A woman working there treated me in an incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful manner. I was waiting in line to use the fitting rooms when she looked directly at me, then allowed the woman behind me to cut in front without saying a word. She completely ignored me.
Even when the customer behind me politely pointed out that it was actually my turn, the employee rolled her eyes at me and dismissively said, “No.” Her behavior was not only rude but also created unnecessary tension and confusion. I’ve never been treated like that in a store where customer service is supposed to matter.
This type of conduct is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on Target’s standards. Staff should be trained to treat all customers with basic respect and fairness. I hope this issue is addressed to prevent it from happening to someone else...
