Check out this park/splash pad we had to ourselves yesterday in the west valley!! Remember lots of sunscreen and water!!!!💗 Our 1.5 year old had a blast, the water was cold at the splash pad so that helped keep us all cool on these hot days. 📍Goodyear Community Park 3151 N Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 🕐Hours Park: 7am-10pm Splash Pad: April-October 9am-8pm 🧺Lots of Shaded Ramadas 🛝2 Playgrounds 💦Splash Pad 🏀Basketball 🎾Tennis/Pickleball 🏐Sand Volleyball ⚾️Baseball/Softball fields 🛹Skate Park 🐶Dog Park ♿️ADA Accessible 🧑‍🧑‍🧒Restrooms #aztoddlerfun #azsplashpad #splashpad #goodyearaz #goodyearcommunitypark #aztoddler #adaaccessible #goodyearsplashpad #fypシ゚viral #fypage #fyp #phoenixaz

Temps are heating up - which means it’s splash pad weather! And we’ve got you covered with a quick list of favorite locations AND a splash pad map! 💦bookmark and share with a friend! 💦 If you’re new to Phoenix, you may be wondering what we’re talking about! Splash pads (or spraypads ) are outdoor water play areas. Splash pads are usually located at shopping malls or public parks and have no standing water so kids can enjoy the water at any age, even toddlers. Our littles ones started enjoying splashpads as soon as they could sit up! 💦 Best splash pads in Phoenix! Ones marked with a ** should be currently on; see link in bio for our interactive splash pad map of Arizona with more details about each splash pad 💦 🌵West Valley **Rio Vista Park at 8866 W Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, AZ 85381 (this splashpad is gated!) **Friendship Park at 12325 W McDowell Rd, Avondale, AZ 85323 (this splash pad is gated!) **Park West at 9744 W Northern Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345 **Westgate Entertainment District at 6751 N Sunset Blvd, Glendale, AZ 85305 Goodyear Community Park at 3151 N Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85395 🌵East Valley **Tempe Marketplace at 2000 E Rio Salado Pkwy, Tempe, AZ 85281 – **Mansel Carter Oasis Park at 19459 E Appleby Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142 **Riverview Park at 2100 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa, AZ 85201 (this splashpad is gated!) **Gilbert Regional Park at 3005 E Queen Creek Rd, Gilbert, 85298 (this splash pad is gated!) 🌵Phoenix and area Altadena Park at 3711 E Altadena Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85028 (no restrooms) **Desert Ridge at 21001 N Tatum Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85050 Margaret T. Overall, nice place for the kids to play. Several play areas and a splash pad. Bad thing about splash pad is there is NO policing of the area at all. Upsetting to no end when uninformed, or those who just blatantly disregard rules, put MY child or myself, at risk of becoming ill. Snapped pic submitted with review of women letting an infant play in the water with just a regular diaper. This splash pad does get shut down a few times each summer due to cryptosporidium outbreaks from idiots like these that put everyone at risk. For second time this summer, see children playing wearing just a diaper (NOT even a swim diaper). PLEASE understand how splash pads work. Water doesn't just go into the sewer. There is a reservoir into which the water drains. So water comes out, hits your child, runs into their diaper, and then back into the reservior with whatever foul contents it picked up running through the diaper. While the water is treated, if it travels through one diaper of a sick child, you will have the potential to sicken every child at that location for days. If the child is young enough, it could kill them! Goodyear Park Services, it would be great to have posted signs explaining the need for extra protection with those still in diapers.

This park is unique. It has adorable child size benches scattered around the walking path around the wood chipped filled play areas. Several shaded pavilions and a splash pad in the center of it all make this a great park for Birthday Parties. I really like the gigantic big kid climbing wall in the very back. There is a lot to like about this park from a mother's perspective. But although it has bathrooms you have to go around a baseball field to get to it. The stalls are outhouse like, with a sanitation dispenser in side the stall and a sink outside around a corner from the stalls. That was a unique setup. I don't know if they would be available if games weren't being played. There is plenty of parking in their huge lot.

A Fire house is set right next to the entrance of this park, It must make for an exciting thing to watch for the kids when there is a call for...

We love this park..it's great for just walking around and getting in some steps or to bring the kiddos and dogs to them run off some steam! They have 2 play grounds one for bigger kids and one for smaller ones (but not too small) my 3 yr old gets around it well but I'm still right there for support. my 6 yr old has mastered both. During the summer there is a splash pad and though it's scary to watch such a wide range of kids running around in water they love it!! It's always clean and being attended to. I wish there were less HS aged kids there sometimes but it can't be avoided since it's right next to the ymca and skate park. 😕 we gonall the time and will continue...
