On 8/26/25 I placed on one order aprox at 2:35pm. App showed drink would be ready at 2:40 PM when I arrived your little bubbly girl at the Pick up window was too busy giggling and talking with three high school boys who were behaving like a bunch of sixth Graders which her behavior was no different, very loud and no manners whatsoever. There was a gentleman in line Also waiting to Give his order. I was the only one waiting for a mobile order. I walked up to the window, asked her if my order was ready. She said it will be shortly I stepped back and she continued to giggle and joke with these boys while the gentleman was still waiting to place his order They finally moved away waiting for their order. Within about five minutes, she brought out all the boys drinks, and yet I was still waiting for Mine. When the boys left, I approached her and asked her that why was I still waiting for my order when I ordered it 10 or 15 minutes prior to them placing their order her response is they only have two workers And to be patient. Interesting patient when I have only been waiting for 15 minutes for mine and others that walked up way after me received theirs, interesting!! She then called my name. I approached to grab my drink and she did not even acknowledge by thanking me, So I thanked her and received no reply so again, I thanked her and again no reply. Needless to say how angry I was at this point I asked to speak to the manager low and behold another high school boy walks up as a manager. I questioned him asked him if he was the manager he replied he was. I then asked him if his position was at a higher level then her position again he said it was., So I asked him was he willing To listen an address as a manager my situation and he stated That yes he was. I explained my situation to him, he kept apologizing. I then told him that she never even thanked me and just handed me my drink, so he did seem surprised that she did not thank me and she then started speaking over him until he asked her to be quiet. He then started to offer me a free drink. I do not want a free drink!! I want action for children who are working the workforce to have respect and manners to all customers not just adults all their customers and be an example. So you can promise me you’ll talk to her doesn’t mean anything will be done, but as I mentioned to this manager, I do not want a free drink. I do not think this girl should be at the window assisting customers she needs to be removed, And to think I even tipped her on the app, if I would’ve known, I never would’ve sent a tip. I also ordered and paid xtra for coconut and got nothing!! I understand these kids work hard in the sun, but when they’re inside working at the window acting like silly little high school children they do not deserve this job. not even sure if a high school kid should even be managing this place. What qualifications do you ask for in order for them to get this job...
Read moreI never thought I would be writing a 1 star review. My family finally tried Dutch Bros 2 months ago, and loved it. We go to the Surprise location and this location on Indian School because it's close to my daughter's school. I went today to get a coffee. I always use thet walk up window because I need to make sure I get decaf coffee. I always double check with the staff inside. Today, I used for the first time my filled up stamp card for a free drink. I handed the card to the lady at the counter, and she stamped it. She stamped it because a couple spots were faded ink stamps that she didn't see. I told her it was already filled up. She found her, what I assume was, manager. She came over and said my stamps looked like finger prints, not stamps. They were stamps. I told her I usually go to the Surprise location and only this location from time to time. She said their stamps are the same. I said forget it, I can pay then, so she looked me in the eyes and said can you tell me you purchased these drinks? I said yes I did. She said, I need to know you bought all of these drinks. Again, I said yes I did, but I can pay for my drink today, it's not a problem. AGAIN, she said I just need to know you paid for these drinks, are you sure? Yes I said, but I will pay for my drink, all while staring me down. She said no, I want you leaving happy today. Happy? I'm no where near happy, I am offended!! She took my card she was holding placed it off to the side, and left. I tried to get the first girls attention, so I could pay for my drink, because at this point I was offended by what this manager what trying to insinuate, that I wet my finger on the stamps and placed it in the empty spots to 'create' a stamp. No one would come to the window to me. Luckily, it wasn't really busy, so I wasn't completely embarrassed in front of dozens of people. Just only about 5. They called my drink, I took it and left, offended and hurt. I will not be coming back here. I'm not sure why I was treated this way. But, the more I think about what happened the more upset I become. Very...
Read moreI arrived at this Dutch Bros location at 9:03 AM. At the time, there were six vehicles total: two in the left lane, two in the right, one receiving their drink, and one still in the turn lane placing an order.
The female employee managing the right lane was still with the customer in the turn lane. After the customer paid and was shown the tip screen, she continued chatting at the vehicle for another seven minutes. During that time, the male employee in the left lane was doing his best to keep things moving and get orders out.
Once the female employee took the order from the car in front of me, she then left to get water. It’s summer, so I get the need to stay hydrated—but when she returned and took my order, she told me to follow the Jeep to the left of me that hadn’t ordered yet. The male employee started taking that Jeep’s order but let them move forward into the turn lane before they finished. That vehicle sat there ordering for about 10 more minutes, completely blocking the flow of traffic.
There are clear lines on the ground next to the menus showing where cars should stop until they finish ordering, but those weren’t used properly. That decision caused a major backup.
While the parking lot wasn’t full this time, I drive by this location often—and the line is always wrapped around into neighboring business lots, blocking their entrances and affecting their customers. It’s a consistent issue and shows a lack of planning and care for the surrounding area.
When I brought this up to an employee, I was brushed off with, “We’re busy and people order a lot of drinks, sorry,” before they walked away.
I didn’t leave until 9:31 AM—28 minutes for one drink. That’s ridiculous. This location is consistently mismanaged and needs serious...
