Excellent store. 3 full time jewelry Smith's is rare. Needed ring sized and rodium plating Went to lunch, came back and it was ready. Quality was exceptional. I will use them exclusively.

This is my second review, because they deserve it: My daughter was recently married in Phoenix AZ. Prior to the wedding, her new husband, Kevin, was looking for the wedding ring. He was frustrated with the quality and pricing of the choices in Phoenix. I recommended giving River City a call. He is an aerospace engineer for a large firm and he picks up on industry jargon quickly. After communicating with River City, he said that he was sold immediately, that the communication with the staff was precise and that all his technical questions were answered in depth. He was throughly impressed with the knowledge base of Scott, Mike, and Corey. Although the time line was short, he said that he felt like he was their most important customer, receiving constant updates, and speedy service. When he received the rings, being an engineer, he closely examined them, and remarked how the prongs that hold the stones were thicker than the big box stores, and that they just looked more robust and sturdier built—heirloom quality. Visiting Downtown Grand Forks, ND for the first time ! I was so curious to visit the River City Jewelry store during the Saturday Market Day. Went inside to browse around . There were 3 guys working ; 2 were busy assisting their customers but there was One guy who came out from the back who approached me! He was wearing his apron and you could tell he was really an Authentic jewelry maker. I asked for some Pearls in the case. He showed me different pieces patiently and with my curiosity, I asked if he were to buy one “ which would he choose from the choices I was looking at ?” He gave me the answers about the luster, the price, shape, size and length! With his honest answers, I bought the expensive one plus he marked down the price of 50% since it’s been awhile in the case! ( per my husband opinion too, to purchase the Best) Yes, I was so satisfied and happy to buy that beautiful Pearl necklace from Micheal! ( The Owner) He put the Pearl in a box with polishing cloth and I requested to give me his Appraisal value! We went home and happy for Micheal’s Customer Service and requested to have a photo with him as my remembrance of my visit there! I can't say enough good about this establishment. There aren't many places you walk in and feel a sense of nostalgia and warmth without ever having set foot there.
