Hi- I don’t usually write bad reviews however I feel compelled to do so- I came here with my 76 yo mother who is on oxygen and we walked to the ticket taker thinking the QR code was the ticket and they instructed us to go back to kiosks to print the tickets , which normally is no big deal for me but my mom struggles quite a bit with her breathing and really needed to sit so I asked if I could go get her seated and I’d come right back to print the tickets and they said no. I understand policy but are we not humans with compassion anymore? It’s not like we were teens trying to sneak in- how does one even sneak in when the seats are assigned? She was clearly struggling and I just cannot imagine being so strict as to not let an elderly woman get seated. I spoke with a manager just to say maybe your employees can use their discretion in a situation like that and he also said no exceptions. Sir, this is a movie theater not homeland security headquarters. I’m usually one to side with employees as I have bartended and waited tables for many years. But that felt really terrible and just flat out inhumane. And again, I have no problem taking the extra step to print the tickets (although that is a pretty dumb system considering we were provided a QR code when purchased online) but geeze. What a way to make an elderly woman feel terrible. I swear our society is only about $$$. Obviously we’d never come back but I doubt that...
Read moreI typically love this theater. Like we won't even go to any other theater. But today I took my daughter to see Lilo and stitch and while we were headed to the concession stand to place our order for popcorn I watched one of their employees in full uniform leaving with one of the stitch merchandise still wrapped in plastic they were suppose to be selling to movie patrons. When I asked about them the cashier said he had just sold their last one. I made a comments about how they probably sold the majority to their employees and he didnt even bother trying to deny it. He smile and giggled. Ive worked retail and our company didnt allow us access to merchandise while working. We would have to leave and come back in clothing not related to the business. Im a grown adult but my 10 year old was pretty bummed that all we could purchase was the chincy almost $9 cup. How many od your employees were allowed to purchase these items to resell on ebay for a ridiculous profit? Might seem like something dumb to complain about but to kids coming to the movies are a magical thing and thankfully she didnt let it ruin her experience but I figured id say something since I think its crazy there isnt some policy...
Read moreIt was our first time using the MOVIE PASS card that we subscribe to each month. When we arrived and checked in through our phone app it wouldn’t work correctly. The manager, Chris, tried to help, but it still wouldn’t load properly on app. To keep from holding the line up, we bought tickets and went to our seats. While waiting for movie to begin I reloaded the app on phone and started over. Waaaa-la. Now it worked! I rushed back out to the lobby to see if I could get a refund for tickets purchased, really expecting an “I’m sorry” for an answer. Instead, Chris said “ABSOLUTELY!” And proceeded to tell me what items he would need from me. (My phone with ticket code, ticket stubs that I purchased, and credit card that I used). I had all but the stupid ticket stub that was back sitting in my cup holder! Chris said “What theater and what seat?” I told him and without hesitation he literally sprinted to go get it! He refunded my tickets and I was able to use my Movie Pass card and all was well in the world again, because of Chris. In a time where quality customer service is rare, tonight I experienced...
