The historical downtown area and the fact this store been there for 40 years lead me to believe that this woman could be trusted with a violin that had been in my girl friend family for over 4 generations , we took it in to have it restrung and cleaned up and this was all that was said ! Long story short this business owner sold our violin with out our permission, we went in to her story friday to confront her and when she made eye contact she turned around and danm near ran out the back of the store jumped in her car and didnt even brake when she hit the dip in between the parking lot behind the store and the street! When I walked in, the man at the counter—a tall guy with a beard—didn’t greet me, offer assistance, or even acknowledge me. Instead, he turned up the music he was listening to and completely ignored me as I walked through the store. I’m currently in the market for a Martin 000-28, but it seems this shop doesn’t carry them—or at least no one made an effort to help me find out.
