Fraud... Me and two friends were excited to take time off and enjoy a Canadian artist by the name TORY LANEZ. I knew something was wrong when we walked up and two parking cones blocked a VIP parking spot that was "empty"... Well as we listened to an artist unheard of, almost like TORY(idk who he is frfr) we attempted to go out for a smoke and was disrespectfully told we would not able to re-enter nor the others standing with tickets for the concert. We asked for Management and was approached by Charles Evan CONE DENIM SECURITY SUPERVISOR he laughed and said he's not coming, to me and my best friend. Shai, who arranged for the night, was distraught about the false hope to see a "semi celebrity" the staff allowed the "show " to go on for quite some time, selling drinks not telling the customers the truth... My best friend's and I started telling other audience members he not coming the night ended with a seemingly preSet voice mail they claim was him on the phone. As the crowd booed him while one the phone we were demanded to leave the venue in the rain by the rude security and told that no one could stand under the roof hanging over the sidewalk... Sad but...
Read moreThe staff were really the only saving grace for me. Everyone I interacted with was professional, kind and efficient. They were impressive, and deserve at least 4 stars.
Perhaps in the winter, I would have had a different experience, but the heat was so overwhelming in our 10pm show that the comedian was visibly suffering heat exhaustion, not to mention two guys in my group that grew sick from it. This was a seated show, not wall-to-wall-bodies at a concert, so there really is no excuse for poor ventilation or temp control. Bathrooms were scant, with only one multi-person ladies' room upstairs....and in a packed venue, insufficient and downright dangerous to get to.
Venue is small, so only so much can be done to fix "everything," but I shouldn't have to worry that John Mulaney is about to have a stroke right before my eyes because someone turned the AC off...
Read moreI normally dont write reviews like this. They honestly don't deserve 1 star. If you are going to see a show in greensboro do yourself a favor and go to Arizona Pete's instead. The entire staff (minus the bartenders) were rude as hell(especially the super mouthy door guy). The drink prices are outrageous! The floor you stand on down stairs is slanted at probably a 45° angle. The sound crew was horrible. Couldn't hear the first bands lead singer at all during the first song. The second band you couldn't hear at times over the bass. Atreyu saved the show at the end(I guess they brought there own sound guy) I've been to a bunch of venues in South and North Carolina over the last few years and this is by far the worst one I've...
