This park was a great idea to bring the community together, then they went and ruined it. First, if you are going to have a closed event, where you have to pay to get in, go to a park that isnt small where you will be in the way. Then make it affordable. The kids wanted to join the party, but the price was $10 a person, no matter the age. Hell no! I could understand a few bucks, but not ten. And kids should be free! It's a park it's supposed to be FREE FUN! I understand they dont control the people who rent space. However, this is a small park, not nice to block over half the people out of the fun.

This is a park down town where people are supposed to gather and enjoy. The dog park is stuck right behind the stage, so you get to watch everyone in the event while the music drives the dogs nuts. The play area for the dogs are small and rather than them getting to run around they all end up clustered together.

The kids land is nice and strange. However my niece and nephew seem to like it. I do like how you can put put. Play pingpong or even play in the water. There are restaurants there, which I think take away from the hot dog carts, lushly carts, and other vendors who have been working that area for years. Had it been me I would have offered the restaurants to the vendors by making perminate vendor stands for them to rent rather than building two restaurants to run off the local businesses. They already shut down a few places becau see of this careless over site.

The park is split into two parts with a road running through it. This is highly inconvenient and scares me. The road should be taken out and turned into parking. Limited to the park visitors only. Right now it's a fight to find a decent place to park anywhere close. What they had at first was nice, but this new design...

LeBauer Park in downtown Greensboro is an outstanding urban oasis that offers a little something for everyone. From the lush green lawns to the playful, modern sculptures, it’s clear that a lot of thought and creativity went into designing this park. The large open space is perfect for a casual walk, relaxing under the shade of trees, or having a picnic with family and friends. The interactive fountain is a favorite for kids, especially on hot days, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant.

The park also shines in its variety of recreational options. There are play areas for children, a dog park for furry friends, and plenty of spaces for adults to sit and enjoy the surrounding views. The well-maintained grounds host an array of community events, from outdoor fitness classes to movie nights, ensuring that there’s always something exciting happening. The park is not only visually stunning but also functional, with clean restrooms and ample seating throughout.

LeBauer Park’s location is perfect for those exploring downtown Greensboro. Its proximity to restaurants and shops makes it easy to grab a bite to eat before or after visiting. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this park offers a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the lively downtown area. I attended the sunday Folk Festival that was a three days event. They started with a youth choir that was fantastic. They had other artists on the stage. There was seats and tables available. It was a beautiful gathering and I am glad I attended.
