Not much food but teas are great and rather reasonably priced. Quaint little place I like to visit from time-to-time. Try the allergy tea if allergies are ever an issue. Myriad of teas and tinctures for all things healthwise. I also recommend the Peppermint tea, Egyptian, Chestnut for coffee lovers, and there's one that tastes like Chocolate. Chai is a must have. Plus, all fruit teas. They offer various sweeteners to enhance the tea.
Seems they're out growing their current location and might want to consider a relocation soon. Hopefully, they can stay in that area. It is so charming there. Like a small village shopping experience in Europe! With so many commercialized chains, this place feels comfy whilst eclectic. They offer an array of gift price ranges also.
While they're still in this spot, grab some teas and shop about in crystal house next door and the shops in the area. There are friendly shop owners with various businesses like America should still offer. Finish up with the Italian restaurant down the street. Make a day of it, starting or ending with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have become totally hooked on Vida Pour. I've always enjoyed tea but I've never considered myself a "tea person" until I stopped in here.
The shop itself is the very definition of cozy and charming. There's a lot of stuff packed in a small space which would be a detractor if it wasn't all so thoughtfully curated and merchandised. The back of the shop, though, is where you need to be. There's a wall of probably 30 or 40 custom loose leaf tea blends, from black to green to rooibos and other herbal blends. Priced right around $13 for a bag which makes 30ish cups of tea, prices are comparable or less than higher end grocery store teas. There's also a cafe counter where I assume you can get a really tasty drink, maybe I'll get brave next time I'm there...
The quality and the thoughtfulness of the teas are what keeps me coming back here. If you've never had good tea and your experience is just Lipton from the microwave, you're missing out on an entire world of flavors! The tart cherry rooibos is currently my favorite, but everything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLetās cut to the chase: this whole review is a build-up to the punishingly punny pronouncement that Vida Pour is tea-riffic. Of course, it would be hard to get away with such a crime against language if this establishment didnāt have so much going for it. Among Vida Pourās many virtues are an expansive selection (greens, whites, reds, herbals, and everything in between), reasonable pricing ($2 to $2.25 depending on the size for a cup of tea), a helpful and passionate owner in Sarah Chapman, and some high-quality products. An apple pie tea sweetened with local honey was the best hot beverage of recent memory while an apple pumpkin chai muffin managed to satisfy despite āorganicā and āveganā hitting my brain like toxic waste warning labels.
You donāt have to be a tea connoisseur to appreciate this place though it definitely wonāt hurt. One certain-tea is that you will have a hard time finding fault...
