Six & Twenty Distillery — Attraction in Greenville

I attended an event at this bar and decided to try the Gin Fizz. I noticed the bartender was handling money and preparing the drinks without washing hands. After serving me the drink I noticed it was a funny smell. (keep in mind this drink does have raw egg as part of the ingredients but the funny smell was that of something like mold / mildew) I brought it to the attention of the bartender who told me That's normal for it to smell since it is egg. (but she had not even smelled the drink) I explained that what I smell is not egg it's something old and moldy. Bartender did not even offer to make a new drink , just flat out refuse to fix it. I returned the drink back after drinking less than few sips. I requested to speak with the manager who offered me a small discount.

Would I buy a drink from the bar from here again? absolutely no for several reasons. Both of the individuals who are bartenders (one is a manager) Did not show any Hospitality. no smile, no hello, no desire to fix the issue. I very well could have gotten sick from that drink because of the raw egg preparation without use of even washing of hands so there is no concern for customer health and hygiene.

Planned my brother's surprise 40th birthday party here all the way from another state and it was seamless. The event director Ms.Minnick talked me through every available option. She was kind and patient. Took her time to guide me through what would work best for the party.

I was nervous because I had never laid eyes on the place but it was PERFECT. With Ms.Minnick's recommendation I booked the distillery tour before our gathering. I'm SO glad I did.

Our tour guide Joel was very informative and extremely knowledgeable. My family talked about this tour well into midnight. We discussed all of our new teachings and couldn't believe we could learn that much about alcohol.

The food was excellent, establishment was clean, waiters and waitress' were attentive and offered excellent service. Their recommendations for drinks were spot on.

Decided to have an afternoon date with the hubby, so we went to check out six and twenty distillery. It had been on our list for a while, but we never had made it in. We had the whole place to ourselves...at 2 pm on a Monday afternoon. Cause it's 5 o'clock somewhere!

We decided to try both of the flights to try everything. Love the rum, cremes (had peach and regular), and husband loved all the whiskeys and bourbon. The vodka was nice and smooth, but the gin was better. I don't like gin usually and this gin was one I could see keeping in stock. We enjoyed our mixologist today who made a mean old fashioned for my husband. Yes, we tried some of the other cocktails on the list and all were amazing.
