This park was larger than I realized when I was looking at pictures on Google maps: it had a play ground, a couple of different swing sets and a nice, shaded pavilion. It's connected to a baseball park via a cute little path with a bridge but everything was locked up and inaccessible. While the grounds were generally well-kept, the play set looked like it needed a good power-washing. There was dirt and mold all over the play structures and a couple of swings were missing.

Grew up in West Greenville, this park is very nostalgic to me. Look for my name “Just” on the benches, and if you go across the bridge at the very back of the park , take a right afterwards, you’ll come to a location that was used for something(I’m not sure what) back in the day where I like to hang out, get some Sun, and read.

Love this historical park. Been bringing the kids here for years. Yes it's not in the prettiest neighborhood, with million dollar homes, but it does represent the real Greenville. The blue collar worker's who made this town grow and profit. This park is just the right size to keep track of your kids and have fun without having to chase them all the time so as not to lose sight of them. There's a nice little Creek that runs beside it with a bridge your can cross to the other side were the...

Took my family to visit a piece of history during the weekend… didn’t realize that the park was smack dab in the middle of the ghetto and unfortunately the city neglects this park and it’s a shame… we still made the most of it and had a picnic but didn’t stay long bc of some questionable people hanging around in their cars in the parking lot… if the neighborhood wasn’t so derelict I think more people would come there but the city has obviously neglected this park...
