I’ve had good service up until today. But the experience I had today was unacceptable. I ordered ahead online. I show up (5 minutes past when I was supposed to) and nothing is ready. The girl acknowledges my order and says she will start on it. She gives me my drink and says have a nice day. I’m missing the food portion of my order. I figure they’re working on it so I wait. And wait. And wait. I finally get up and ask about it and they say they’re “having issues” and haven’t started it yet and it will “be awhile.” I say I have to leave so I cannot wait on the order. They offer to refund me and I assume they’ll refund my whole order, but they only refund the food. I waited 20 extra minutes and drove way out of my way (that’s my choice) but you not only are late, you miss half my order entirely and let me wait so long I have to actually leave, and then only refund the food? That’s poor customer service. A lot of things can fly if your customer service is great but…without that, it’s a two star experience. Which sucks cause the food is good if you can wait a super long time to get it or if they’re aware you even ordered it.

Edit to respond to the owner:

I wasn’t fishing for a full refund, but thanks. I didn’t know the system was the issue because the employee told me that her coworker “just got there” and that seemed to be the reason for the delay. And for the record, I love small businesses, and I certainly don’t want to “kill” yours, nor do I think review was such that it will kill your business. I was simply alerting someone to the problem, which to me wasn’t that the software wasn’t working properly, but that the first response wasn’t “wow this was supposed to be ready at 7:35 and it’s after 8, customer has been sitting for more than 20 minutes when they ordered something ahead of time to go, let me make it right by them by at least refunding their drink.”

I am sure people can see the load of positive reviews your business has and I don’t think anyone will stop going or not go because of my review. I don’t wish any thing bad on your business. I just thought this situation was handled in a 2 star way and wanted to alert someone so that if this ever happens to anyone again, maybe they’ll get a different outcome than I did and someone else can write a great review about how they had a problem but the business did everything they could to make it right with them there on the spot. I didn’t have time to stay there today and talk it out, or I would have just waited on the food. I certainly wasn’t trying to be unreasonable. I’ll change my star rating because I actually don’t want anything bad to happen, it was a two star experience but I’m not really saying it’s overall a...

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5 Stars)

We’ve loved this coffee and breakfast shop for a long time and even gave it a five-star review before, but things seem to be slipping. We have a coffee subscription that was delayed last month due to an employee wedding, which was understandable, but today was disappointing.

We arrived at 2 PM on a Saturday, well before their closing time of 4 PM, only to find out that the kitchen was closed. There was no explanation given, nor was there any notice posted. The staff member behind the counter was not very forthcoming or apologetic about the situation, which added to our frustration.

The food here is still incredible, but the service quality is definitely declining. I hope they can get back to the level of service that made us love this place in the first place. -March 2025 We had an amazing experience at Unlocked Coffee today! Our family of 5 enjoyed a late breakfast at this warm and welcoming Colombian food spot. Even though we arrived just 30 minutes before closing, the staff served us with big smiles.

We tried the curator sandwich, vanilla latte, cortado, gingerbread iced latte, avocado toast, mango smoothie, and pandebono waffle, and everything was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor!

This is hands down our favorite place for breakfast. The owner even took the time to explain the coffee options to us, and we’re excited about starting our coffee subscription. Highly recommend Unlocked Coffee for anyone looking for a wonderful meal in a...

Well, I walked in and there were two people behind the counter. No one said a word to me. Maybe I looked alien to them? I came to this place because I was out of my regular beans and being newish to the area, why not take advantage of a local space to buy beans? Some of my best memories from college onward involve coffee shops. Ive been to cafes all over the world, and they are always an experience. Blue Bottle being the exception...they have great beans but every shop Ive ever been to has an elitist air. Unlocked kind of too maybe?

I came in and no one said s--- to me. No one at the counter. A few people sitting in the cafe. Nothing. Nada. I walked straight to where the beans were and am clearly looking at them looking for some beans to buy and nothing. No one said HEY! Welcome! What are you looking for? Gotta some favorite notes? Just nothing. I felt unwelcome within minutes of walking into this place.

I was kind of rattled when I walked in because I just saw a stray little dog wandering the streets that I was desperately trying to catch. Or maybe my work from home sweatpants were off-putting to this team, I dont know, but I wont second this place to find out. I got a free cup of coffee with my beans purchase, so 2 stars for that I guess. I know of lots of places to order great beans. If a coffee shop isn't offering a vibe, an experience, what...

In a city over filled with mediocre coffee shops and "roasters" this spot was a 5 out of 5 for us. From the hospitality walking in, the batistas crafting away, to the limited but powerful food menu. This was the holy land for coffee in Greenville. My lady had the waffle with fresh fruit and the chocolate expresso( I highly recommend) and I went left with it and snagged a quad shot latte and the avocado toast. I can say that was the best waffle either of us have ever had. The avocado toast was amazing. I tried to find something about any of it is didn't like and I couldn't. We will be back many times. This is the pinnacle of coffee shops in Greenville.

Fun coffee shop vibe in an industrial feel with workspace and plants abound! It’s right next to a work space / industrial space so seems like lots of space to work and explore. Family friendly and good options for breakfast and snacks / pastries. Great coffee selection- enjoyed my cortado! There is a self order kiosk or you can order at the counter, confused when I 1st walked in but made sense once I asked. Great lighting, wifi and overall ambiance. Not to far off 185 or route headed to Asheville NC. Pretty busy on Saturday morning but I can totally see why- great place, people and location & parking free!
