Old man is a scalper. He uses dealer net to price his product, which makes no sense as dealer net is by and large for people who are SELLING the product. In other words, they buy from dealer net to either break on whatnot or sell in their stores. He has every pokemon product, star wars, anything you can think of marked up to dealer net resale pricing. I used to come in here and buy a case of whatever the newest star wars trading card set was and each time I came in on each drop it got higher and higher until he finally told me he is using dealer net. He explained "A guy in anderson is paying XXX amount for these" so that's what he charges his customers in store. I think it's a slime-ball move and have taken my business elsewhere and haven't been in the store since my last interaction with him regarding a case of star wars cards. I used to bring one of my nephews here to look at pokemon packs, boxes and singles and he is just so outrageous on his pricing that I hope people read this review and just give other shots a try instead. I feel bad for the parents that don't know what they're looking at and assume he is selling at or near retail. He even buys costco-exclusive items and resells them in his card...
Read more(DO NOT BOTHER SELLING YOUR COLLECTIBLES TO THESE GUYS) I went in today to try to sell off a pretty large selection of baseball, football, and basketball cards that have been collected and passed down from my family for years. I don’t know a lot about sport cards and collecting them but I knew I had some cards worth good money as I’ve looked a few of them up online. If they would’ve looked through some of them and agreed they didn’t want to look at them anymore I understand. The older gentleman I talked with looked at 1 card out of thousands I had, threw it back in the box and sent me on my way. No thanks for coming in. No give me a few hours too look them over. Not even a word of information about my cards. Didn’t want to look at anymore than 1 card. I can’t force you to look at what I have but I would assume this is your passion being it’s your business to buy, sell, and trade collectibles in the sports category. Was very disappointed they wasted my time. Will never visit the...
Read moreI stopped in today from out of town (Fl) as the card shops in my area have evaporated faster than water in the summer. Lenny, the owner, was a super nice and knowledgable fella. His prices were very fair. He said he had over a million raw cards in the shop! Lenny deals mostly in hobby boxes and raw upgraded cards. Deals everywhere! Just a great places to shoot the breeze, do a break on his counter tops and talk sports! I even saw him taking trades towards new hobby boxes, and you get some great deals if you bundle or buy in bulk All around awesome shop! I will definitely be back to see him when I'm back in town! Thx Len for hooking it up. Wish I could rate you 10 stars! Go...
