Iāve been a customer at B&BW for the past 10+ years and have NEVER experienced what Iāve experienced this evening (Iāve been to numerous locations and typically shop at a location other than this one, unfortunately I decided to stop by this location tonight since I was already in the area). The staff here are absolutely terrible! Nothing but a bunch of unprofessional millennials working here who like to target people! First off, the minute I get in the door, Iām told I āneed to sanitize my handsā prior to coming in the store (as the staff member telling me this has their mask falling off of their face with their nose and mouth completely exposed while sitting on the floor unloading freight). I had mentioned to her, as a consumer, it should be āour rightā whether or not we choose to sanitize our hands and I dislike being ātoldā what to do the second I walk in the door, instead she couldāve politely asked me to sanitize my hands instead of telling me in a bossy tone, I instantly felt unwelcome. I comply with her request and go about searching for a new candle with my reusable bag in hand (as I was doing an even exchange), meanwhile, another customer enters the store and is NOT told to sanitize their hands as I was just told five minutes prior! Iām thinking to myself āwhat in the world?!ā. During my hunt for a new candle, Iām approached by another employee asking if I wanted a bag to shop with, my response was āno, I have mine right here so Iām good but thanksā she then proceeds to tell me that my reusable bag is making herself and all of the employees uncomfortable as I could be bringing germs into the store and I need to use one of their bags to shop with! At this point I was shocked that she had the audacity to say this to me, I told her she had to be kidding me and all Iām doing is a simple even exchange, she then turned her back to me as I was telling her how ridiculous my shopping experience has been and Iāll be making a beeline for the front door ASAP! I instantly walked to the front register so I could get the hell out of there. I expressed that I was feeling targeted as if the employees believed me to have COVID and said thereās no need for me to be treated that way, thatās when the employee who confronted me about the reusable bag started screaming from across the room ābecause youāre rude!ā I told them if they had to deal with unprofessional employees such as themselves and are heading to the cancer clinic tomorrow due to a potential relapse with cancer then theyād be rude too! I came here to relax and get my mind off of my health battles, however, I was instantly targeted! They didnāt make these requests to any other customers in the store other than myself! Not only does she go out of her way to make sure I cannot do anything exchange wise or using coupons she continues to cancel my orders and even has gone out of her way to tell my aunt ( another paying customer) about how they donāt like me and wonāt continue to fill my orders because I am using so many coupons and rewards, which is ODD. Their job isnāt to ask me why I have rewards when you get them for BUYING THINGS. My entire garage is full of products as I love the products but if this company even knew how hard the store manager tries to make getting their items theyād probably fire her. 1) Iām also a store manager and never would I ever be bringing up someoneās name to THEIR FAMILY which is weird, I see my aunt 4 times a year so why would you do that? 2) canceling orders and acting like Iām a burden coming in store is disgusting and Iām sure bath and body works is wanting to sell things no? So why are you making it so hard and personal? Do your job and move along. This is petty and harassment. Calling other stores and telling them not to help me. I have SIXTEEN full size rewards which means I spend 100$ per reward and this is how Iām treated. Itās disgusting. The employees are so sweet but the short store manager is a whole bad vibe and terrible professionalism...

The store is like other B&BW stores. Smells good, well stocked and good service. Right when you walk in you're generally greeted with a pleasant welcome and offered assistance. This location is not huge, but big enough.
No restrooms inside so you need to go to Ulta or Old Navy (single stall) next door.
At Christmas I always come in for sales and gifts. Today I had to take a few things back and exchange a few others. The first lady I talked to was helpful but I felt strange asking her to do this in the end. She wasn't overly enthusiastic just told me what to get to exchange.
However, on the floor I interacted with a Katherine who was fabulous and definitely understands customer service. She was extremely helpful, found options for me and tried to make sure all of my questions were answered.
