What a wonderful sanctuary for seniors! The Gulfport Senior Center features classes in yoga, art, music, writing and more. They also offer health screenings and workshops. Make sure you sign up for the newsletter to see all the offerings.

What makes this Senior Center so special is that they feature a Sunshine Club and a Reassurance Program. If you know someone who may need a little pick-me-up, they will send that person a card to let them know that someone is thinking of them. And if you sign up for the Reassurance Program, they will make daily calls to you to provide reassurance or assistance.

Just saw it today. They are open Mon-Thur 7am to 7pm, and 7am to 4pm on Fri. They have many events. They have a exercise room, they also have field trips if you are interested.
