Galápagos Ecuadorian Cuisine — Restaurant in Hackensack

First and last time I come here. Order 2 bolones mixtos for pick up. Stopped by and was curious about the menu. Right on there they have posted, "bolones de queso mixto o chicharrón." $4.00. When I was charged, the girl said $11. I asked the lady that was cooking why $11 if it said $4 each for the mixto ones. She said, no. I showed her the menu and the guy behind the counter said that's a mistake. If your menu is outdated, then fix it. That's not my problem if its a mistake. I continue to say, that this is the first and last time I come here. He says, its tour money, if you don't want to come, then don't come. (I just changed my review from 2 stars to 1) I AM Ecuadorian and that might work in Ecuador but here in the US it's a different story my friend. That is false advertising....

Last time I went will be the last time.Found a piece of chewed gum wrapped in a foil on my plate and told the waitress and she simply took of the gum off the plate, didn’t bother to at least give me a fresh plate since the gum was IN THE FOOD. Disgusting 🤢 never will eat there. The fact they did nothing was disappointing especially cause they charged me when I didn’t even touch the food after seeing that. As per your questions: I did go, last summer with a group friends; it was a table of 4; we all ordered your lunches and your staff may or may not remember but my friends and I do and we haven’t forgotten. First things first, the food is incredibly delicious!! The bolon mixto, guatita, and caldo de bola is to go for because the taste of everything is beyond words..SOOOO GOOOOOD!!! Secondly, I love the new look!! More spacious and comfortable!! And last but least, shout out to the owners and staff!! They excel in service!! They make you feel at home and serve with smiles, kindness, and patience!! This is why I always come here to eat whether it’s by myself or with my son!! We just want to say thank you for everything and you will continue to have us as loyal customers and friends!! God Bless you...
