Crown Peruvian Grill — Restaurant in Hackensack

The lady that works there with the glasses has a very passive aggressive and dismissive personality. She refused to communicate with me because she “ didn’t know English “ and she definitely does know English at that , but regardless I also know Spanish but since she seen me say “ umm “ while thinking about what I wanted she shut me down and cut me off and didn’t allow me to speak to her and redirected me to another worker who “can spoke English “ , his English seemed okay but somehow my order still came out to over 30 dollars even tho I ordered the 8.95 quarter chicken combo off the menu . Even with taxes there’s absolutely no way they got my order right . The bill had a couple of extra orders on there and after the fact they were very unsympathetic and unwilling to fix the mistake just staring at me so they can guilt me into paying for all that food I didn’t order . It wasn’t the guys fault really because the lady refused to communicate with me in both English and Spanish and had a very indifferent attitude the entire time . I heard her speak very clear English in some parts to other people and even if she felt more comfortable speaking Spanish I can also speak Spanish !!! But she refused to hold a conversation with me and was very awkward about it So this was Extremely bad customer service and I wanted to give this place a chance but I will never return after...

I can't believe I paid 48 dollars for what I received. I've never had chicken with skin in chicken soup. I've never had to eat room temperature ceviche and huge chunks of it at that to where the fish isn't able to cook in the juice, and I sure as hell have never had Jalea and it not have flavor or an appealing smell to it. these people gave me the worst possible plates of food and thought that I would not notice. This is the worst Peruvian food I've ever...

Do not understand the bad reviews about this GEM!!!! Don't go here if you are a needy snob as service is not high end but it's friendly. Honestly is delicious Peruvian food, it's a humble place and at great prices. We love their: Papa a la Huancaina Roasted Chicken Chaufa rice Ceviches Jalea Choros a la chalaca Sopas and more Again, if youre a 5star restaurant snob don't go here but if you appreciate authentic food you'll love...
