What an adorable place! I came here on a Thursday with a friend and her toddler, and he absolutely loved it! There is so much to look at and do! Even as a smaller place, they included a lot of things children might be interested in as well as learning opportunities while the children play. There was an open rock wall for kids to climb on with protection only being the thick mat below, so parental supervision would be encouraged for that. Overall, a lot of fun and safe activities for kids to learn and play. Even the bathroom was pretty cute and encouraged kids to keep their hands clean (and the bathroom itself was clean!). $8 for children and $5 for adults doesn't seem too bad price-wise. I didn't interact with the employees too much, but the one I did greeted us and seemed friendly. I hope to hear of renovations soon because the thought of it all working would be a...
Read moreThe Museum staff, in particular the Floor Manager exhibited racist attitudes toward the minority students and parents from O. W. Dillon Leadership Academy! We won't be back and will spread the word to our other schools in the parish.
Met today with Mrs. Schwebel and Mr. Philpot concerning the field trip experienced by my students and staff. Their administration was very professional and proactive. We were able to reach a common accord on corrective actions to insure that our experience was an isolated incident and not any reflection on the organization and its purpose. I now feel very comfortable in recommending the continued support of the Museum and...
