Apna Bazar Farmers Market Mechanicsburg PA — Attraction in Hampden Township

We live two hours away from Apna Bazar, and if there were an option to rate it zero stars, I would definitely choose that. We bought Bansi Poha and found tiny bugs inside the bag, so we decided to return it. I called in July and spoke to a lady who assured me they would accept the return, even though I didn’t have the receipt. She said we could exchange it without any problem.

So, we drove all the way there today, bringing the bags with us, but we soon found out that two of the bags weren’t even from this store. However, one of them was. The staff member who attended us was incredibly rude. Not only was he talking on the phone while addressing us, but he also accused us of not knowing how to behave. He first refused to accept the return, claiming we might not have bought it from their store. Then he looked up our purchase using our phone number and saw that we bought it in June. The store policy clearly states they accept returns within 30 days, but he insisted that since it had been over 90 days, they would not accept it. The worst part? They didn’t even seem to know their own store policy.

This whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. The staff was unhelpful and disrespectful, and I feel like we were treated unfairly. I would definitely recommend being cautious when buying from this place. They seem to lack consistency in their policies and customer service, and I’ve...

Excellent Desi store. They have a wide variety of rice, dhaal, snacks, vegetables and everything you need. Cost is reasonable. Huge and clean. The store-keep who I sought help from took me around to locate a specific item that I wanted. You can make it your regular Desi store to go with your family on Friday evenings after work!! I can't say if they have items specific to the region in India you are from. But I did see a lot of unique brands preferred by Tamil Nadu, Andhra-Telangana, Gujarat people with generic brands for others. Go check it out!! You may not be able to find your purpose in life here but you may find your next packet...

This place was spacious compared to bombay bazar, thats why I liked to shop at this store but as the time passed I see items of unbrands selling more at this store.

Why not good brands example oils, panneer, Mcvities Digestive biscuits to name a few can be sold.

You guys are encouraging unbranded stuff for your greater margin. This was discussed even in our friends circle.

As a genuine feedback I encourage you to sell good branded stock along with unbranded. We can choose whatever we need.

For now I madeup my mind to visit Bombay Bazaar for my needs, even though it is couple of miles away from my home than your store.
