My situation: Mr Fix has lied to me multiple times in one service. It started when my PC wouldn’t connect to the wifi, i brought it to Mr Fix on a Monday morning (October 27th 2025) to get a diagnosis and possibly a repair. They told me it would be done the next day.
On Tuesday, I call expecting them to be almost finished like they said, but they said the RAM was bad and it was corrupting my drives, expect the repair to be done Wednesday or Thursday. This was frustrating, they said they would be done today, but the delay is understandably not their fault.
On Wednesday, I call and they said that THEY ordered the wrong RAM, because it wouldn’t fit my computer. I voice my frustration politely on the phone because these guys were good at their job, and they responded with sass. Even still, I guide the conversation into a professional talk and I’m told that they ordered new RAM, and it would arrive Friday, now I’ even more frustrated because it’s been 2 delays.
On Friday, I call in the afternoon and they say “New RAM should be in at 2pm-3pm today, so I wait. I call again at 6:00pm and they say “The RAM will arrive Saturday.” The frustration is stacking, this is the third delay. Also, why do I have to call at 6:00pm instead of them calling me at 3:00pm to tell me it’s been postponed? Keep in mind, had they ordered the correct RAM the first time, I would’ve had my computer back Wednesday or Thursday.
On Saturday I was told that a lot of people have brought their phones in for repairs so I had to wait even longer. I called again at 3:28 and they pretended that my phone was muted. I called again 2 minutes later and someone else picked up and my phone worked fine (pretty weird, seems like the guy who didn’t hear me was lying) and I was told that I would get my computer back by Monday. This would be the 4th delay. Regretfully, I got vocally confrontational over the phone and said “Come on man! I’ve been waiting!” and thats when they told me I would have my computer back by the end of the day on Saturday instead of Monday.
I’m frustrated that I had to do the heavy lifting of getting information on the status of my computer, which isn’t the kind of service that a $90 diagnostic + $13 tip should ensure. I’ve had to cancel many plans at my expense in order to be ready to pickup my computer. Again, if you want a company who values your time go to Tech Solutions Hampton or Genius Wireless & Computer.

Read moreI brought my Dell Inspiron 5000 (fairly new) laptop here because a few keys were defective. I was told they couldn’t just fix the keyboard and the entire bottom would need to be changed. This was fine with me. When I went to pick my laptop up the second week of January 2024 realized the mouse pad had a dent and the top was lifted, I brought it to the attention of the clerk and explained to him that this wasn’t how I brought my laptop in, he said “that’s doesn’t affect the keyboard & that they could lay something flat”. I left with my computer.
Jan 18th I had a Zoom meeting , the person on the other end was unable to hear me & we resolved this by using phone speaker. I figured it was there device and not mine. This happened again on the 20th. I still didn’t realized it was my computer because I have never had any issues with my sound and my computer is fairly new.
On Feb 20 while working late , I decided to use the keyboard light. I pressed the light key & no light came on. I quickly realized that the keyboard light isn’t working. Mr Fix it 1. Gave me back my computer with a lifted mouse pad & either took my light out or messed it up.
I called Feb 20th & explained this to the associate who answered. All he said was that was not intentional but it passed the 30 days return mark.
How can you say this was not intentional but cannot fix what you messed up.
The next day Feb 21, I realized what I thought was the other persons device was actually mine. My sound doesn’t work.
I went to the store & the same person who told me they mouse pad didn’t matter also told me 30 day last and basically oh well.
I’m seriously fed up. I brought my new computer to get 5 keys fixed. That was the ONLY issue. I paid over $200.
My computer came back with a jack up mouse pad, no sound , and a missing keyboard light.
I was told I will need to pay again to get damages they caused fixed .

Read moreI had an absolutely horrible experience at this place. I went in on a Sunday with my andriod that had a LCD leak. They told me that they would have to order the part and that it would be there on Friday on Monday, the 5th at the latest because he had to get it from a specific distributor. After about 3pm on Friday, I called and got told that they needed to check the ebay tracking and it was showing that it wouldn't be there until Monday. I said "okay, that's fine. If you get the part on Monday, then will I get my phone same day?" and they assured me that I would and that it only takes 45 minutes to an hour. After hearing nothing on Monday, I called that afternoon and was told that my part had come in and they would let me know when ready. After waiting all afternoon, I called at 7pm (they close at 8) and someone rudely answered the phone and said that they weren't going to be able to get to it today because they had a lot of walk-ins. Uhm, what? I've been waiting 8 days for my phone and walk-ins get priority? After you repeatedly told me that the phone would be repaired the same day you received the part? So, on Tuesday, they texted saying there was an update on my phone. I called and apparently this part was defective and I would have to wait another 3-4 days to get a new part. When I said I would go somewhere else, they told me they would keep 20% of my deposit for "restocking" fee. What are you restocking? The part THEY ordered off EBAY was defective and they would get a 100% refund so why am I have to pay you guys $40 for no phone and 12 days of wasted time?????
